Old school randoms:
*The positive part about being completely out on most pop culture trends is that I get to do stuff like watching Breaking Bad for the first time. E6 and I’m enjoying the ride.
*Took my son out to fish Sunday morning, he’s completely obsessed with fishing at the moment. Hit the conditions just right for the largemouths to hit top water. We slayed them and I’ve never seen the kid so happy. Core daddy memory right there.
*I’m trying to introduce the twins to some of my kid movies I grew up with. Home Alone and Honey I Shrunk The Kids went over well. But as I think back, so many movies I watched at 7 years old were either bad or inappropriate or both. I don’t know what my boy would think of Rambo, which we weren’t only watching but they were making kids toys for.
*I’ll leave the virus stuff out except to say I think this week has done it for a lot of people that were just rolling along not paying much attention.
*Never been but something gives me the sense that a trip to the Horseshoe as an opposing fan wouldn’t be met with the same hospitality as a trip to Rupp. Willing to be wrong about that, Willy.
*It was usually only once a year but dammit I’m going to miss a good tailgate and foosball game.
*Lets end on a positive...upcoming lake weekend with friends. Grilling, frosties, almost zero cell service in the area we are headed. Legggo!
