I'm constantly amazed when people to react to stuff like a MASSIVE EXPLOSION IN BEIRUT by pulling out their cameras and filming. I mean, I'd like to think that I would just grab any family members close and run as far as possible.

You know it's a gigantic explosion when the explosion is actually newsworthy in Beirut.
Because nobody expected such a large detonation would result from a warehouse fire, putting people who were filming from very far away in danger?
Reminds me of the video of the warehouse explosions in China a few years back. First two explosions weren't that threatening, were pretty far away...then that third HUGE explosion made the person filming and his friends realize if there was a next larger explosion, it would take them out. That's when the fear hit and they started seeking shelter.
It's always that fourth major explosion that gets you.
It's kind of amazing how bad the "new" LBAR website is. Almost like they got tired of people considering buying a house.

It was just 2,750 lbs of ammonium nitrate that someone had stored for 6 years. Now why they needed to store that for 6 years is another matter.

*Friday night went to dinner with the family. Daughter wanted Texas Roadhouse...Middletown, thankfully.
*Saturday furniture shopping with the wife and daughter. Found nothing.
*Saturday night we went out with some neighbors to Stoney River, then 502 for a drink, then back to their porch to booze some more.
One of the people I met may be known to some of you as he gets to drink beer at UK games, LEGITIMATELY. Cousin of Beau Allen and Nephew of former UK QB Bill Allen. Can't think of his name but he's a Corrections officer. Good dude.
*Sunday we hit the pool then farmers market.
*No statement, but Golf is the only sport I've watched. Just can't get into sports as it currently is.

With limited occupancy, declining revenues and peers going out-of-business, one would think restaurants would go out of their way to accommodate parties brave enough to leave their home and hand them hundreds of dollars. Guess chains can afford to take a pass?
