Hadn't thought about that Cordia situation in a while. Rhodes was definitely finding some ballers in the mountains.

I'm waiting for the situation this year where some rural athletes deem it unsafe to return to in-person classes and enroll in virtual academies offered in neighboring school districts.

-local, higher quality, humane practices(no factory farm etc), butchered to order. Haven't done the math on thie one...but it is usually at least10-15% cheaper. Ex: At the grocery *good* bacon is $5-6 per #.

-These were the best pork chops I've ever eaten, no joke.

Won’t see me question anyone saving 10-15% on their pork, rudd.
We split a cow with the 80s and it worked out great. A dozen really tasty steaks and 80lbs of ground beef. Been wanting to do a pig, and I have a source, just always slips my mind.

Why you hating Lama, I wear polo and shorts to Ruby’s all the time. Austin 3:16.

Haven’t really wanted a whole pig or steer, I tend to enjoy certain cuts, not a large consumer of ground beef.

Rudd, lemme know when you wanna do some pork belly burnt ends.

The section of the drive from downtown Versailles to 64 is gorgeous.

Have called it "Thoroughbred Alley" for a long time. Can't tell you how many times I drove it, having lived in Louisville a few years (returning to Lexington often) and also working in Frankfort for several years when back in Lexington.

My favorite local drive, though, still is taking Manchester out to Old Frankfort, all the way to said "Thoroughbred Alley."

BIG TIME YOUTH SOCCER officially fired up again last night. We'll see how it goes. I think the kids (and parents) were happy to see each other. I assume one positive test will shut everything down for the next six months but whatever.

River Road is special.

Can't believe I didn't think to name that in my other post. Drove it often while living in Louisville when I just needed to clear my head or it was a nice day. Might like it even better than Old Frankfort, actually.

Saw a woman this morning with a surgical mask over her chin and one over her nose so she could talk through the gap.

'Murica.

Rhodes fell in love with the 3-point shot. If he had focused more on slashing, posting his man up, and 10-15 foot jumpers, he would have been a totally different player.

-Couple next to us at Jeff Ruby's told the server they were on their first date. He was in a polo and shorts. And they split their app, their salad, and their dessert. I don't see that relationship lasting.

Buddy setting it up nicely to gift her a slice of cheesecake for a push present.

Seen some servers wearing these clear chin mask looking things...can’t say I’m terribly impressed. Would rather not see your face and have a more effective barrier.

* Interesting start to the MLB season. Nats have played 7 games, all at home though were the road team in two as the Blue Jays were on the lam. Won't hit the road until 3 weeks in, so that's a nice perk, I guess? And agree with Llama on how much pressure each game places on teams and with so many games postponed for stip club induced Covid, the standings make zero sense.

* Watched some hockey last night and as exciting as the Caps v Lightening 3rd period and OT were, the shootout was a huge buzzkill. 65 minute battle that ends like a YMCA soccer match. Can see why purists hate it now.

* Still waiting on that distillery trip for a GYERO barrell. I'm in for 2 shares.

* Thank you Tim Cook for the split. Just need Bezos to do the same.

* WKY Parkway is hands down the least enjoyable road to travel in this fine state.

* 21 years ago I made my first trip to Vegas and I doubt there's a town that has undergone such an overhaul in the same amount of time. Pools were just pools, none of that foam party darty stuff. Little to no high end casina dining options. Maybe a few clubs but nothing like they have for shows now. Seeing George Carlin live was the highlight for third year college kid.

* Uplift standing desk is a work-from-home game changer.

-the "big" farm is opposite houston oaks on paris pike. Its lousy with turkey...plenty of deer. Gonna put a dove field in for next year. Perfect place...close to lex and feels like the middle of nowhere when you camp on the back 40.

-my brother bought some bees, to go with the chickens and horses. Hopefully that will lead to fresh honey...will definitely lead to hijinks/near catastrophe.

-just laid the groundwork for 1/2 beef purchase in september.

Right next to (one of) the WindStone farms, Rudd? Rubbing elbows with the Nicholas County elite certainly speaks well of you
