Too bad the bullpen can’t keep the ball in the touching park.

And offense is anemic.

Other then that we good.

I heard in Fayette County schools, the kids of teachers will be allowed into the schools where their parents are and taught by the other teachers who will be physically at the school while conducting virtual learning to my kids. Anybody else heard this, any truth to it? Kind of feel like they should have to figure it out like everyone else and the teachers kid should be required to stay home too. Not matter how difficult this is to do for their family. It only takes one kid to infect one teacher.....right? And isn’t that what we are trying to prevent by making my kids stay home?

Haven’t heard that at all. We haven’t even heard if we have to work at the school or at home yet.

Are you a elementary school teacher in Fayette County? Word has been going around that they have been told they will be required to be at the school during regular school hours and conduct their virtual classroom from there. Their boss did say NTI would look vastly different than last time because of such negative feedback they received on survey.

I am. There are loads of rumors flying around but we’ve been told nothing is definite until after the board meeting tomorrow.

Aren't those the "cardboard cut outs" they're selling?

My favorite part is that you can have a giant cardboard version of yourself at the end of the season. Because that goes well with all decor.

All I’m saying is- people are gonna be pissed when that starts coming out so if I were one of the #elites (anth, Harris, doc etc.) I’d play it cool and not let the hoi polloi know what’s up.

-Oof, my bad, Max. I only check GYERO while at work, so after my "Krak House" post, I wasn't on the rest of the weekend. It seemed like every other FB post I saw that afternoon was one of those fraud giveaway posts. Had I seen your post, clearly I would have refrained.

No wonder Llama's comedy career never took off.

-My comedy career didn't fail because I stole stuff. My comedy career failed because I sucked at it.

-I really don't get Cal backing off Kunkel. Most transfers/grad transfers are a bit overrated anyway (and the stats prove it), but still....it's a local kid who developed his game (at least partially) under Rick Byrd, an all-time great coach. Plus, you factor in a relatively weak 2021 class (nationally). Mix him with Askew, Skyy, and Hardy, and that is a backcourt full of assassins. I don't get it.

-Started the whole "time-restricted eating" thing about a week ago. Same number of calories, roughly, but in a 7-hour window instead. Good results so far. Fast-food breakfast and late night snacks while watching "Narcos" were killing me. Turns out drug cartels really make you hungry.

-Woodford County is giving parents a choice of in-person or at home. We're going in-person. Talked to a principal yesterday who said that it's about 70/30 in-person, which is kinda ideal. Who knows maybe all parents will win?

How many scholarship players are we even going to have next year? Brooks, Allen, Askew, Boston, Clarke, Fletcher. Jackson, Ware, Toppin, Mintz, and Sarr. Am I missing anyone?

If we've only got 11 scholarship guys, why not take a flyer on a local transfer to sit the bench for a few years and provide some shooting. Kunkel went to Xavier so he isn't a scrub. I guess Calipari didn't want to lock up a scholarship for multiple years (which is what he's doing with Toppin anyway) but we really don't ever fill up our roster.

Kind of weird.

If you're looking for some good news today, it looks like we're one step closer to closing down the MLB season.

https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/29546814/sources-marlins-cancel-game-virus-spreads

The Miami Marlins' home opener against the Baltimore Orioles on Monday night has been canceled, sources told ESPN's Jeff Passan, as coronavirus cases continue to pop up among the team.

Eight more players and two coaches with the Marlins have tested positive for coronavirus, as an outbreak has spread throughout their clubhouse and brought the total cases in recent days to at least 14, sources familiar with the situation told ESPN.

So anywho, everyone can go F themselves. Happy Monday, pricks!

I don't get it either. It doesn't matter if most are overrated. They make good veteran role players, which is what's usually missing from most Cal squads.

That's always been my main criticism of Cal, his unwillingness to fully embrace the transfer/grad transfer route. It's the perfect way to supplement his young rosters. He's opening up to it more now but still seems reluctant at times as is the case with Kunkel. If he did pass on him then it was a mistake.

I'm not going to make fun of Cal for both signing and not-signing mid-major transfers so enjoy Xavier, bucko.

Never mind, the blue courts next to Memorial are definitely gone but the ones next to Johnson Center might still be there but they're doing a bunch of construction over there so I'm not sure.

Got kicked out of the Seaton Center for dunking. My 180 pound college frame would have definitely shattered one of those wooden backboards!
