I have one kid who will be in school 4 days a week. The other will be at home the entire time. It's GREAT.

And you can bet your *** that the private schools in Lexington are taking advantage of this. "Come on over and get rid of your kids - it's not that expensive."
I’m over here holding fast to my “private schools will go virtual after the tuition payments come in” theory

Private schools would be idiots to not have a plan to bring kids back to school.

I have 2 kids at CAL, and if they did home school only, why not transfer them to a public school that's doing the same thing and save a ton of $?

To their credit, they have developed a hybrid system where you can choose to stay home or go to school. My kids are going. They need social interaction with kids their own age that isn't on a video game.

Bullitt County is meeting to discuss copying what Shelby County is doing which is giving kids/parents the option of going to class or if you have the means to stay home and join classes virtually.

This allows the reduction of in school capacity and makes my kids still have school.

Despite already filing paperwork to home school to avoid all this disaster of delay after delay after delay or possible cancellation due to outbreaks, we may give this a try.

At least it’s logical.

Absolutely the most logical. Let at risk teachers stay home and do online teaching, everyone else in the classroom.

Krazy home schooling. What can't this guy do?

Make no mistake about it, I can handle math and science but my wife will be handling EVERYTHING else.

I can barely read 2 paragraphs without falling asleep or forgetting what I just read so there is no point in pretending I can even help with that.

Also, I’m the guy that was tested for dyslexia as a child and thought I’d be slick so I remembered the ABC’s backward......idiot.......turns out that did not prove I had dyslexia but instead was plenty smart and needed to do better!

To this day I can still say them backwards faster than most say them right, and that has gotten me out of at least 1 DUI in my 20s.

I saw a story about how some places in Asia take the very best teachers and broadcast their lessons out to allllll the classrooms live. So every kid at every school is being taught by the best teacher in the land. Krazy is going to end up being one of those teachers in a couple weeks once he learns this teaching stuff.

I watched the Fayette Country Schools online meeting yesterday where they announced their decision. It seemed very odd to me. They had discussions acting like they were going back and forth trying to decide what to do, then made a decision at the end. I think they knew exactly what their decision was before that meeting a
started. Also, interesting note that on the survey they gave 70% of parents said they would send their kids back to school if they opened them back up..pretty high %.

Something to watch in China, for non communists - one of the largest dams in the world, 3 Gorges Dam, is on the verge of failure and could wipe out 300 million people along with numerous cities.

Let's hope they figure it out because it could create a world economic disaster.

Guess I'll need clarification on what bucket considers a push-up. I just did 20 in 18 seconds that were chest to about a fist distance from the floor. If that's not adequate then, no, I don't have a chance. They'll be solid pushups, I'm not going to be humping the floor like Richie.

Anth sent me the video. He performed 200 pushups in an 8 minute video.

I will gladly send Anth the $20.

With that said, the form was definitely not consistent with a fist distance from the floor. His last ten pushups had better form than his first 50.

He can share the video with someone else and they can be the judge.

Lass witnessed Anth's accomplishment in person this morning (they work out at the same gym) and said it was legit. Fairly confident Bowen wouldn't let him get away with sloppy form, dude is hardcore.

I haven't seen the video, but she said she is in it at some point kicking at him and telling him to keep going (she didn't know about the bet at the time, sorry about that Anth [laughing]).
