About half our fraternity started off at LCC, and I can’t remember a single one of those dudes missing out on the college experience.

I’m sure it sucked having a different classroom building, but it’s kind of a moot point since none of them ever went anyways.

I need to watch the full quote.

If he's actually wishing her well, **** that guy. No room for pedophilia in my party.

Not really.

Wishing a molester well is about as awful as it gets.

Uhhh....that's is the full quote. Heard that before. I'll check myself.

Maybe some can stand kid touches in their party. Not I.

I get it, I appreciate your perspective, and I'm not making light of the issue. I'm just numb to anything he says at this point.

Jumped off when he mocked the mentally disabled guy at a rally. Feeling pretty good about that decision. I'll be endorsing the only female candidate.
I’m indifferent on spike Cohen but I’ve generally liked everything that has came out of Dr Jo’s mouth or twitter fingers

Fully auto let’s even those odds

Calumet Farm single rack black and some Columbus Crew soccer on ESPN2 after a solid 18 in reasonable weather.

Feels like normal.

All I know about Community College (specifically LCC) is that the people who went there in 1997 were borderline illiterates and it wouldn't have been a great environment to spend 1/4 of your college career.

See, I've been wondering about this as well -

My 17 y/o is going the university route (assuming the asteroids predicted for September Arne't real) - and wants to get into nursing school ....but getting a year or two of C/C in to save money and maybe 'transition' into the university curriculum and whatnot -- SEEMS like a good idea,,,,,,although I'm not sure if BCTC (BGTC>) here in town is the current version of the place you're referencing or not.......

my oldest is locked on enlisting in the Air Force so that kind of simplifies things .... of course......if this autumn = mad-pitched calamity then were bugging out to my ancestral grounds [winking]

Maybe he meant it in a kind of "good luck going forward, lady". kind of way

as opposed to a "wish you well WITH ANY AND ALL FUTURE DIDDLIN OR MOLESTIN'" kind of way.....

Final Broadcast Signoff- midnight randoms:
  • Those warm fuzzy head coverings we wear in the winter the ones that used to have like little fuzzy balls on top -- those were ALWAYS called TOBOGGANS or a 'BOGGAN where I'm from.....so you can imagine the mutual cultural shock when 2 of my team mates in Arizona thought I was joking and explained that ti's called a BEANIE......a FKKING BEANIE..........the Bell Co word is better damnit (didn't Spanky wear a Beanie?)
  • I never was all that sure what bluegrass really was - so I read up a but after moving here -- turns out we have the Spanish to thank for the bluegrass that's in Kentucky ((Poa pratensis)) -- it's a meadow grass that's typically found in other places where really cool Mo-Fo's like us live,,,,
  • Turns out - if you maintain a tight focus on what you're acquiring and why -- you CAN buy shoes online with very few unwanted surprises or cray-cray laughing side eyes from people.......
  • My experiences are my own - and you may say that my "data" is subjective and anecdotal -- but I'll look you right back in the eye and EXCLAIM LOUDLY that Lexington has the LONGEST LASTING AND LEAST SMART RED LIGHTS I'VE EVER RAN ThROGH - !
  • This has been the best decade for hair in college basketball - you really DO get it all -- there are tight fades, long haired freaky honeys , dreads of various commitment levels and some ppl the clearly just went for the homeless look......beards & lateral hairs are grown like Martin VanBuren and Issac Asimov are still roaming the sidelines...........the only thing missing is a throwback, and threatenin' 80's Jerry curl (Winston Bennett's Frf Year I think) .....Rick James had that look when he played forward too

Goin for a midnight walk on Tates Creek & Dove Run now ..... be good

Drunk, which is excuse enough to buy golden tee. Been wanting one and hoping it gives my stepdad a fun thing to do. Hearing him tell me stories of “the good old days” because if he doesn’t talk about them he is scared he’ll forget really drove my thirst.

Him remembering heading to Lex when we had tickets through the Brooks Era and stopping at BWs for beers, wings and golden tee while watching games is all the extra push I needed to spend a couple bucks!

I think the Wolkens of the world have this self guilt resentment towards one self because they feel like in the big scheme of things what they write about, sports, is meaningless in the big scheme of things. So they try way too hard to get involved or write about social issues, politics, and race.

It’s one thing to keep pointing out how we need to be very cautious with the return of the sports and cover all of the angles but it’s an entirely different tone from Wolken, who comes off as if he’s cheering for sports to be shut down. What a loser.
