Experts believe AC units may be contributing to spread of Covid by providing currents to spread droplets as people stay in during the summer heat.

Thanks Anth!! No wonder you are spreading your anti-virus propaganda to protect your own personal interests. Geez..

They make products to prevent this*. I sell those. :)

*I can't verify these actually work against covid but the manufacturer claims it does.

* Why isn't RC Cola readily available anymore?

And on that note, same goes with Kangaroos. If those came back all vintage style, with the pocket in tongue to stick a couple bucks or a few pieces of change, I'm in.

* This releasing of tax return nonsense is such baloney. I mean, in theory it's done to expose any personal/financial conflicts, unveil scandal, reveal bribes, shady business dealings, and elected officials using their office for personal gain....

.....uhhhh. Problem solved? o_O

* Hottest Britney Spears video = I'm A Slave 4U.

Everything else is a distant second.

* Christina Aguilera's Dirrty is criminally underrated, somehow. JMHO.

* Good news! Our mayor's office is launching a large scale workplace training program right now in order to get the 15-20% of unemployed locals ready to get back into the workforce when the extra $600 unemployment payments end in August.

Can't wait for these people to all get back into easily the biggest sectors of the local economy -- working at bars, hotels, restaurants, large festivals, concerts, parades.....:mad::mad:

* <-- Will never be scared to shake someone's hand, pandemic or not. GTFO here with that foolishness.

* What's the difference between and epidemic and a pandemic?

* My top 5 HBCU schools, if I were a top-25 high school player:

1> Howard
2> Morehouse
3> Jackson State
4> Spelman
5> Tuskegee

(just kidding. I had to google those)

I never felt, at all, that negros should be barred. In fact, I had a negro on the first high school team that I ever coached when I was at Freeport Illinois. And he was a very capable athlete, he was on the first team, and all I ever thought that we needed was someone that could participate and do it the way ... ah ... it would meet with the approval of everybody that was a spectator. They liked it. And this boy could do it, and so we naturally played him." - Adolph Rupp

“They had a really weird team. We played them really tough, but I’ll be the first to admit that I had a hard time trying to decide which one of the guards I was most worried about in terms of which one could hurt us the most. Maxey is young. He’d make a bad choice. Quickley isn’t creating for others. Hagans is a whole different deal, and then the bigs are just ‘eh.’ But then you look up and they’re absolutely the best team in our league. I don’t know. It just feels like there isn’t a far and away, no doubt John Wall guy. They didn’t have that at all.”

- Grambling always sounded cool. Great band as well.

- Is the Nissan Rogue the new vehicle of every 20-40 something year old working middle class citizen? I’m seeing more of these in the road right now than I did those old mid-90s model Ford Explorers.

- UPDATE: Bought some used Mizuno irons off eBay. Really good condition and I’m hitting them pretty well. Can’t tell if it’s the equipment or if it’s just that I’m playing more, but I’m 5-10 strokes better that I’ve ever been. Not to go all boat, but I could easily fire a smooth 95 from the second tees on any muni right now.

- Been eating a lot of Kroger sushi lately. Everything’s a risk, boys.

- Heard a cover of Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game” from a random station shuffle during my run the other day. Forgot how “sexy” that song was. That guitar run into the falsetto vocals probably gets all the women worked up.

- Knob Creek Single Barrel Select. That’s a pretty good one. I’m not a bourbon ball at all, but this one really hit me in all the senses.

- There are going to be so many teachers that are going to hoot and holler about going back to in-person classes. Just know that I think teaching is “essential” so I am willing to go to the front lines like all other essential workers.

Yes, I think this virus is real and it’s scary. No, I do not think I’m immune to it. But I can’t live in servile fearfulness much longer. I can’t have the life taken out of my life. I’ll be as safe as possible and use common sense. I’ll follow all guidelines.

RC Cola - I only vaguely remember it being like Pepsi but I did pass a truck last week that had 4-5 disparate colas on the side being advertised ...turns out Snapple has bought RC if I read it correctly (along with A&W root beer and 7-up )

not sure when
Not sure how

but this appears to be real

Coach Seven: “Don’t even get me started on Hagans. I think he’s trash (as a player). I just don’t think he’s very good. I think he thinks he’s a lot better than what he is. Defensively, everyone talks about him. And on film, he for sure disrupts. He has quick hands, he’s strong, he fights through dribble hand-offs, he puts a body on you. But like, it’s kind of overstated. I think he’s a selfish defender. He wants deflections and steals. And that has nothing to do with being a good defensive player. I think he’s a selfish defensive player.

“And offensively, he’s limited. I didn’t see that much athleticism and speed. We were begging him to shoot. I don’t know if he’s going to make it. What does he do? What does he do well? He got in trouble with turnovers this year. He was turning that thing over like crazy. He did not scare me at all. Preparing for them, he was the least of my worries. I think Saben Lee at Vanderbilt is way better than Ashton Hagans.”

Coby White had a bad game, and from then on, the guy was an assumed defensive guru -- but he wasn't. Dude couldn't make a layup but got so much leeway from Cal. Never understood it.

Shorts:

- Hagans sucks? Well no ****.

- I think we’re all going to enjoy Mintz.

- IMO, placing today’s PC standards on dead people from different eras is foolish and does little to make present society better - which should be the point with “revolution.” I get it occasionally, but most of the time, it seems like pointless retribution. That said, it’s not me being offended so I’ll listen to other arguments.

- “Oops I Did It Again” Brit is by far the hottest Brit.

- Car guys- best SUV for a small family? Reliable. Looks good. Nice interior. Thinking Honda Passport ...

- Coby White had a lot of bad games when I watched him. Never got the hype there.
