Good for them.

When the powers that be allocate $ for that purchase, I will gladly buy them and hand them out at the temperature taking station.

We just got a temp check kiosk that will have a mask detector feature added-on soon.

It sucks this is reality but it's pretty damn cool and makes a lot more sense than putting some employee in charge of being in direct contact with the entire office.

My employer gives everyone a new pack every Monday AM. I have to keep a extry pack in case customers do not have one. I have my own office away from everyone else, not out around consumers all day. So sometimes in the evening I will lay my mask in my top drawer and wear it again the next day. To me, it is not a big deal to wear the mask for 5 minutes stretches, it would be hard to keep it on for long stretches like 30 minutes or longer.

Future had this figured out years ago.

"Rep the set, gotta rep the set, chase a check, never chase a *itch.

Mask on, F'It mask off. Mask on, F'It mask off."

A remix to "Mask Off" tied to The Rona would be topping the charts.

Serious questions about numbers:

When these athletes are constantly “tested,” are they really getting a full nasal swab and lab results every few days? Surely the hell not. I assume it’s more like a “check their temp and ask some questions” test.

When “cases” are reported, are these lab result positive tests, or are they including close associates of positive tests? Ex: if your spouse tests positive, they automatically count you as positive as well.

May be dumb questions, but some of these numbers are so off the charts they don’t make sense.

in my health department district (lake Cumberland) they are counting close associates as positive / active cases. A lady and her child were both tested on Thursday both came back negative and Friday Morning they were counted as active

The football team is getting the antibody test regularly, they've had the nasal swab once so far. They get their temperature and questionnaire multiple times a day.

-Employers should be distributing masks. Sorry, that sucks, bern. We've mandated and supplied them since April 6th. Not an easy task with the folks.

-Love that were just going to point to the same old group and blame them for the "surge" in cases because of masks. How tired is that? Racist, rednecks, slack jawed, uneducated, hillbilly, nazi, and now granny killers. K. Because some small pockets of these hillbillies refuse to wear mask we now have increased new cases in urban heavily populated areas that were largely unaffected in the Spring, and these crazy rednecks are targeting mostly young minorities(largely Hispanic), and patients being admitted to hospitals for reasons other than covid. Silly hiljacks, spreading this thing all over the place ruining football for the whole world.

But Europe is wearing them way better!! No... they're not. Some are, some aren't. The places that got smoked in the spring, like NYC, are more diligent, others not so much. A simple google search will provide the same type of articles we have floating around here.

Sorry, but when the protests were encouraged by politicians, and the value of their rights placed above public health, you're going to have kick back(right or wrong). Can't just say one group's rights are more valuable but other people's livelihood or rights aren't. Sorry if that offends you and don't even give the ******** about protesters wearing masks. At best, German Studies have shown cloth masks can reduce spread by 40%, which is great if you're not in tightly gathered massive crowds day/night screaming and yelling. Also, they weren't wearing masks. A different social media or google search will show this.

F*ck outta here with that nonsense.

-Lachlan mentioned Cal had a racial incident in New Jersey. I find that hard to believe, can someone refresh my memory? That would seem to be way out of character.

-Like the Washington Red Tails.

Probables are counted in some places. A LOT of places don't count negatives or throw out positives from repeat cases(someone who had it trying to see if they are negative to go back to work). A lot of states also include antibody tests, meaning they may have had it sometime in the past but not current.

All those ^ things are big problems.

I hope that's not real. They put all those cool concept designs that looked like a Bronco, then they dropped a Nissan Cube lmao.

Technically.
New Jersey Nets coach John Calipari apologized Monday for calling a reporter a "Mexican idiot," insisting his comments were an ill-advised attempt at humor rather than a racial slur.

With Mash on that. A classic Bronco with some minor modern updates would crush. That looks like the stock version of the car that came out of the vending machine in one of the 17 Fast N' Furious movies.

You mean protests like this, bub?

Meanwhile, Cuomo is patting himself on the back for his excellent response with **** like this. It's unreal.

- Played General Burnside State Park Golf Course for the first time this weekend. What a really nice track - had no idea. Hilly, tough from the tips and in great shape. $40 for 18 w/ cart.

- Costco 'Polywood' Adirondack chairs arrived this weekend. Easy setup, comfy AF, and they'll last forever.

- My wife has a wonderful way of gifting **** to me that she ultimately wants. 'Ohhhh for your birthday coming up I found this beautiful canvas of these horses in a field. You love nature. So I think it will look great in the living room!!' -- Thanks, babe!

I'm not anti-tank by no means. I'm simply reporting the reality I see from ground zero.

I'm all for the company giving free masks. In fact, in April, every employee received a free cloth mask because we couldn't locate any other type.

Now that they are more readily available, we're looking into purchasing four thousand disposable masks. With almost 200 employees, those will go fast.

This still doesn't stop mofos from pulling down their mask when they have something to say. Awful. No telling how many conversations I've had with people on how masks work and how to render them useless.

Would like to see a study on which side of the political spectrum is open to hearing opposing points of view.

I don't understand why people lose friends over politics. You don't agree with me? Cool. America and all.

*Solid weekend. Got some pool time on Saturday with the family. My daughter can't get enough of swimming and my son hates it. For our 1.5 hour allotment, he sat in his chair and played with his phone.

*Anyway, my son turned 15 yesterday. Took him to Ruth's Chris Saturday night for his favorite steak. Must say, they were on it. Everything was fantastic. Grilled out last night and had a nice actual birthday dinner at the house.

*Fireworks are still being shot.

*Joella's food truck this Friday. Fatboy isn't upset.

* Little brother was supposed to get married in November. Round #2 for him. Thankfully, they're canceling. I mean, it sounded fun and all, but they chose an entire week at the Cosmo in Vegas. [laughing]

LOL, okay. Thanksgiving week. Just a nice, quick, easy little trip! o_O

(ps -- they don't get out much, so they clearly had NO CLUE what they or their guests were in for)

* Ordered Empire of the Summer Moon, thanks to Hank and Joe Rogan.

* Spent this weekend in Cleveland....

- midwestern, industrial towns are the worst.
- there were about a dozen breweries within walking distance of my hotel, though. so that's a plus.
- rock n roll hall of fame was dope. so many clothing items from famous musicians that you could spot a mile away. my favorites were james browns jumpsuits, and johnny cash's suits.
- finished the canal corridor 100-miler, with some pacing help from a friend who literally moved there this week.
- the ohio and erie canal towpath was awesome. beautiful, scenic, and connected so many little towns, parks, etc.

* At what point do either (or both) of our 80 year-old presidential candidates test positive for the COVID?

I have a theory that whichever doesn't catch the virus will end up winning.

* Eat a dick.
