Try to imagine if every single Flu CASE!!!, hospitalization, and death was documented by the hour in mass media hysterical fashion 24/7 every season.

No, i don’t think Covid = Flu, but How much different would it REALLY be? (not very)

“Case” should be redefined to legitimate hospitalizations/serious condition patients. It’s gotten ridiculous.

Try heart disease or cancer. Lol. Maybe if cared this much about opioids. Maybe if we put a mask on before handing out oxycotin to pill mills. That would've saved us.

Just an fyi, because people want to listen to the headlines, we're still within our average deaths ytd at this time. A lot of states even well below. Even with the 130k covid, with covid or lockdown caused deaths.

One of my cousins died of a drug overdose 2 weeks ago. He had been clean for several years and had been getting regularly tested at work. The switch to working at home was really hard on him mentally and he ultimately relapsed. He didn’t die of coronavirus, but the fallout from the lockdowns certainly didn’t help matters. I’ve heard many stories like this in the past few months. Drug overdoses and suicides are surging. As is mental depression. This goes way deeper than stopping a ******* virus.

Not sure why it's so difficult to understand, but the intra-conference thing is not about a mythic "bubble" as it is about bringing all teams under one and the same jurisdiction, and uniform rules and protocols, that can all be managed with far fewer variables.

That's not gonna happen either, but might as well save the Contrarian Derangement Syndrome for a different issue.

No, they’re above capacity because the coronaviruses cases have put them there. They were operating close to capacity before the “surge”, as is the case with most hospitals. You certainly don’t think that 100% of the patients in the hospital are Covid related?

Of course I don’t think 100% of the patients are Covid related. Wtf is wrong with you? Fact is, quite a few hospitals are at 100% capacity. And in your very own words “they’re above capacity because coronavirus cases have put them there.”

So, based completely on your first post, false.

SEC can hold every school to the same standards and the schools earn more money than most and can provide better resources to test, trace, isolate, etc. than Austin Peay, for instance.

More money leads to more safety.

Except we’re already in July and neither the SEC nor any other conference has ANY standards. I mean... is UK even actually testing at all?

Also, our state supreme court has issued multiple orders denying certain groups of people access to trial courts. Below is a complete list of the people who were given notice and an opportunity to be heard (sometimes referred to as Due Process of Law) before being subjected to these orders:

I’m this close to staying touch all of this and go about your business with some common sense and decency. Guess what people... COVID-19 isn’t going away. Ever. It’s a virus.

We currently live in a world where every positive CASE for a 18-22 yr old athlete equals the Bubonic Plague. Also, we have all of these other sports going on or about to launch and there’s not 1/100th the hysteria that we’ve seen built towards college football.

Yeah Fairy Fest is exactly like the Derby. Good call.
Cool you call it fairy fest, how 2020 of you. Let’s keep the derby very classy and chill like the infield is, if you’re in your fancy clothes and get blackout drunk it’s better than anyone else. Totally cool.

Meanwhile, I’m taking my 28 year old gal to Cheeca lodge for the weekend to wax, drink and eat our faces off by the beach and pool. So have fun with whatever miserable thing you’re doing.

“Because that’s the next closest thing they can say they’re trying to do. It’s not happening either.”

What kind of fairy tale nonsense is that?

Oh god we were gonna win the damn SEC but some Clown wouldn’t wear his make so now the season is cancelled!
Just saying its annoying the rule says one thing and people try to argue against it. Just do it for a bit for Christ’s sake.
