-If you spent Saturday moaning and complaining about how awful America is I don't really have time for you. I can understand a lot of the unrest but I'm not going to deal with that. Take a day off and enjoy the positives from living here. So if you typed, "American Exceptionalism" followed by a most likely inaccurate statistic, YOU'RE PART OF THE PROBLEM. True Story. I woke up, saw several of those, decided to turn that **** off, my day would be hanging with fam and friends while drinking some domestics while betting on horses. All turned out very nicely.

-Sitting at Azur on Friday with some crew members and an African American band played a fantastic rendition of "Dixie." I just assumed we were being punked or video taped.

-Bryson is a whinny *****. He's awful.

-Booker in NYC? Bleh. Just another one of our guys ending up in a piece of trash franchise for the prime of their career.

-Skyy Clark, though. Love that kid.

If there is anyone in the world who got the most out of quarantine its Bryson DeChambeau. That guy put in serious work during that time.

You would think with all the criticism the media took for overlooking Bonds, Sosa, McGuire, this would be low hanging fruit for them. Attack a minor sport for illegal substances and claim moral superiority.

I have that issue with people talking about their parents and instead of saying "my dad" or "my mom", they just say "dad" or "mom". As in this example:

Me: "Hi Clay, what did you do this weekend?"
Clay: "I went over to dad's house"

For years the media has been completely complicit in exaggerating the importance and prestige of playing in New York, particularly for the Knicks. You’d think after 2-3 decades of terrible coaching and terrible performance and terrible ownership and terrible draft picks they’d wake up and realize it’s not a great place to play, despite being in like a really really super big city.

It's pretty interesting that the Bulls and Knicks, the 2 most prominent teams in the 90's Eastern Conference and in 2 of the biggest markets, have been complete **** for a long time.

Dogs made it through the 4th. They are pretty chill actually and if the fireworks bothered them they didn't really show it. I do look forward to every night for a week where all my hick neighbors decide to blow up the neighborhood.

I'm not a Bryson guy, but it is fun seeing someone basically take the Happy Gilmore approach on tour. And I'm very suspect of how he gained that much mass in only a few months. I'd say it's more likely than not he's juicing.

It's going to be pretty awesome seeing him meltdown on social media though when large numbers of people start accusing him of juicing. He's such a thin-skinned ***** that he won't be able to stop himself from responding to trolls.

He definitely isn't chiseled. He looks more like an NFL linebacker that has been out of the game for a few years.

1 month ago if you asked me which golfer on tour I loathed the me most, I would have said Ian Poulter. Then, they shoved a boom mic close enough to hear him fart like a jack mule after his playing partner teed off on a hole. An Everyman, if you will.

A week later, they shove a mic close to DechamBRO and he whines and bitches like a spoiled brat. So now there’s a new sheriff in town. Bryson can take a hike.

That’s how my sports fandom has been going, how ‘bout y’all?

Going to be hitting it a lot further,” DeChambeau said after finishing his title defense at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open with an 8-under 63.

“Bigger. Way stronger. Just stronger in general. I am going to look probably a lot bigger, but it's going to be a fun month and a half off. I have never been able to do this, and I'm going to go do things that are going to be a lot of fun.”

And of course DeChambeau’s method to get jacked is perhaps not the way you might expect. It is not as simple as lifting weights in the five-time PGA TOUR winners world. He instead uses muscle activation techniques with Greg Roskoph, an important member of his team.

He will start his program on Monday and will include some intense stints in Denver with Roskoph as well.

“We make sure the neurological threshold is just as high as the mechanical threshold,” DeChambeau said.

“In layman's terms, pretty much whatever muscle potentially you have, how big and the muscle spindles you have, you can recruit every single one of them to their full potential throughout the whole range and training the whole range of motion.”


The workouts are done on specific machines and incorporate neurological fitness, making sure he is not hurting himself or damaging himself in the process but finding the tipping points and staying right near them.

“I can literally be in massive amount of pain and we can go do a treatment on one of the patterns directly affecting the neurological pain and not have any pain and get back up off the table,” DeChambeau explained of the physical therapy sessions he goes through.

“It's not your normal PT work. I've done it. I’ve broken ribs before. I got a rib out of place when I was 14 and went to physical therapy for the long time. It was great but didn't feel like it ever got better until I started increasing my tolerance levels with weight and strength,” he continued.

“Once I started doing that I felt like I could tolerate anything. You bring it on and I could tolerate it. So it's pretty cool what he does. It's revolutionary in the physical therapy world.”

Revolutionary and DeChambeau are almost interchangeable words these days.

Young dude with 6'1 frame like his can take 20-40 lbs with ease. Especially with how insane he is about everything. Not saying it's impossible because maybe he's on some crazy steriods. I just tend to give him the benefit.

DeChambeau is a weirdo who dedicated himself to signing his name backwards with his opposite hand. I have no doubt he could figure out some genetic oddity to put on weight with a couple months with nothing to do.
