Any luck finding that William Heavenhill 12? Asking for a friend.

[smoke]

Honestly forgot and quit looking.

With distilleries mostly doing curbside these days I haven’t looked really. Mainly just depend on my 2-3 stores to call me and ask if they should sit back anything I’m interested in.

On a side note, it amazes me how much better a straight rye is at a young age vs a bourbon.

Happy America's birthday, GYERO.

This may be an all timer for ole, Bernie.

Start off with the fact I've been drinking cold Miller Lites since noon to beat the heat. Couple that with me smoking 2 briskets. One Alabama wagyu my crazy cajun coworker donated to the party and one certified black Angus. You heard that right, fellas!

Could there be more? YUP! Pork belly burnt ends on the smoker as well.

All this will be culminated with a firework extravaganza from the top of a dirt hill.

USA! USA! USA!

Not going to second guess Kooky’s decisions as to food or beverage.

Blew up so much **** in Pendleton County last night. It was fantastic. But it was all for the kids, you know. I didn’t get an ounce of enjoyment out of it.

Inexplicably the Sunday scaries set in for me this afternoon. Guess my body clock is off with the Friday holiday. Chugged a bottle of cheap Cabernet and things got right real fast.

Cheers Gyero, and God bless the goddamned USA.

-Da Shootz (by Deschutes) is the new fine pilsner of choice for this soon-to-be dad.

-I'm somewhere between Chase and SAE on the GYERO political spectrum, but I'm not having this social media guilt trip assault on IndependenceDay. Log off and save it for the 5th, people.

-puppies to all the puppies tonight.

-I have to see Terry Touchdown in the blue, white & anthracite this calendar year. Have to. Please.

I went over to my buddy’s place last night and they put on a show that was just short of what a small city would put on. Safety factor = zero. If one of the launchers got knocked over by the drunk 23-year old lighting it, a mortar shell would be going into a pack of about 30 kids sitting 50 feet away. About five minutes in I moved my kids to the backyard pool area where the views were just as good, although I’m pretty sure my oldest daughter wanted to call me a *****.

It was on the other side of the lake from me, I did not attend. Saw some pics and videos, saying about 700 boats.

Nice weekend down there, place was packed. Firework show was dope, especially good while on the water, the booms just carry.

Ugh Monday, hate you.

When I was about 12, there was a 4th party at parents friends house and exactly that happened. Hit me and my buddy Evan in the back but no one else got hit fortunately. Fireworks were over at that point obviously.

@drxman1 We always take a boat out on the fourth and anchor about 100 yards from the barge they shoot them off. I just worked this year since we had no fireworks.
