I wish they’d decide what to do, this half open **** is for the birds. I’d rather be closed than 1/2 open. “Hey no worries guys, you back to work at 1/2 the pay, same hours, no beaches or fireworks!” Should be a great weekend....

I think we all need to be prepared to not plan on watching college football soon...which f*cking sucks.

A lot of things suck right now, I’ll be damned if I prematurely lose my marbles about the SEC canceling football. It’s my one shining beacon of hope right now, and frankly the last thing on earth that will cancel itself over a virus.

When a big fiery ball of earth ending meteor is coming to take us out of this big gay world, I hope I’m sitting in the stands watching the blue and white as HOFC Mark Stoops snarls at that ***** *** meteor telling it to “bring it on”. Then BOOM. We fought to the very end, and we didn’t take no **** from nobody.

I used to listen to KSR every day, including during the summer, but I haven't since the NCAA tourney was cancelled and have no intention of starting back until UK sports do. I have utterly no desire to hear Matt spout the corporate line, Ryan trying way too hard for fake yucks, etc.

Not really sure how anyone can, tbh.

I'm sure his bottomline is getting absolutely decimated during this, especially the more it looks like there is no end in sight. That's sad. I hope everything goes gangbusters for him when college sports re-start but it looks increasingly like we probably won't have any college sports for the entire 2020-2021 season.

I'm not sure what is more sad - Matt's desperate need to fill the void (just stick to your brand, say we are KSR and that there are no Kentucky Sports to report on, so we'll sit on the sidelines until that changes, instead of trying so hard to create something out of nothing); or that there probably actually ARE many people out there who rely somewhat on KSR to get them through this. To those, I would say, find a life elsewhere.

Both, pretty much a tie. Ugh.

Every day I log onto the internet and see a comment and think, "you know this is the dumbest thing I have ever read in my life...I want to save this because I am not sure I will read a dumber one." And then the next day it is topped.

I am going to save this one however, because as least as it pertains to KSR, there will never be a dumber one. "Stick to the brand" and say "we'll sit on the sidelines until that changes" may be the stupidest piece of business advice that a human being could possibly create. According to Century Cat (whoever you may be), I should take my 10 website employees, 3 radio employees and 40 plus restaurant employees and tell them all, "well sorry, there aren't any Kentucky sports so we should all just find another line of work." Are you suggesting I fire them all? Or should I pay them in perpetuity and not even attempt to bring in any income? Which is the better solution?

I chose a different route, which is keep the businesses afloat the best we can until revenue can return and try to entertain people as much as possible in the meantime. Some still like it...some not as much. But its the best we can do during tough times.

As far as your admonition to those who still enjoy to "find a life elsewhere," some people don't have the luxury of being as obnoxiously idiotic as you and they have to deal with the real world.

Stopped in my local today and the Early Times bonded slot was empty with a sticker saying “distributor out of supply.”

I guess with the sale to Sazerac it’s done. Damned shame. Best $20 liter of booze you could buy.

That sale doesn’t sit well with me. Early Times is a core Brown Forman brand. And one of their oldest lines. Looking forward to Sazerac filling ET bottles with 80 proof (no Gyero) Buffalo Trace and selling it for thirty bucks a fifth.

There’s no sports. It sucks ***. Can’t really criticize anyone in the industry for fighting thru it as best they can.
That's what I was basically saying the other day. Everyone is in a funk and how can you blame them? What the hell is GYERO or KSR or ESPN supposed to talk about? Sucks all the way around without sports.

I do have a bone to pick with the "million people may die and would you want your grandchildren to get it?" lines. That's not cool.

Come on Matt just tell iHeart you’re not going to do your radio show for a while because there are no sports.

Also, you owe that guy $250.

thought you would still be doing your victory tour with that primary win over Booker rather than lurking catpaw?

yes this is my biggest gripe. Total fear mongering. Seems like a lot called him out on it. He needs to peep the China Virus thread. And also before he says that none of us are epidemiologist then he needs to know he isn’t either.

I have mastered many cooking techniques, baking and complicated dishes...

That said, I effing suck at making pizza.

I got a 16” peel, Stone, Egg rolling at 650°, proofed dough made of 00 Sicilian flour, live yeast, handmade mozz... and I end up cursing, screaming, destroyed kitchen and miserable results.

throwing ****.

time to drink.

Feel you dude. Pretty fearless in the kitchen but haven’t ventured down the hand made pizza yet. Got a cast iron skillet pie that’s pretty good but not one on a stone.
