Yea, Mr. Soros, I got an idea that would really rustle some jimmies out there in suburbia.

I’m gonna crack your Big Gay Egg, vandalize your Traeger, and stick your sous vide machine your your ***, Brad. Tell your neighbors, I’m coming, and all your elite cooking tools are done. Suburbia will burn.

[laughing] What a circus.

Perhaps the most frequently asked question we have received is how we plan to organize kids when they are batting or not in the game. Our plan is to have the on-deck batter and the in-the-hole batter staged in the dugout (spaced out of course) so they are ready to bat when it is their turn. We plan to have the bleachers and area between the dugouts and bleachers (behind backstop fence) reserved for players only. We plan to place an X on the bleachers so they know where to sit and still maintain distance. Players can also stand next to the fence in the designated area if they prefer as long as they maintain distance. A coach/parent will need to be present in this area to assist. If it is difficult for a child to maintain distance, then of course the child will be allowed (and encouraged) to stay with their parent when not batting. We anticipate that weeball/teeball players will likely end up sitting with their parents when they aren t batting.

Spectators will watch games along the baselines and outfield fences while maintaining distance from those not in their immediate household.

Per the Governor s guidelines, players will not need to wear a mask or face covering while actively participating in the game. When not actively participating in the game, the Governor s guidelines advise having players wear a mask or face covering. The Governor s guidelines also advise that coaches and umpires wear a mask or face covering during the game. In our player pitch leagues (Majors/Minors), we anticipate having an umpire stand at a distance behind the pitcher to call balls/strikes instead directly behind the catcher.

If you get called to have an in depth discussion with a 6 year old about the nuances and importance of social distancing and contact tracing, “The Talk” should be a piece of cake when they become a teen.

Well the LMPD and KY National Guard killed someone on 26th and Broadway last night. Should put an end to the protests. GYERO lurkers? Glad that's over!

:joy: at even the thought of kids sitting on Xs in the bleachers and wearing a mask while pretending to watch a baseball game.

Shockingly, Lexington has handled these protests about as well as they can be handled from what I can tell. Cops and protesters have respected each other, not a ton of property damage, etc.

^Big mistake. Should have marched down into black communities with artillery in the middle of the night.

Yeah - very cute takes and all...but if you are going to shoot at Cops and/or our National Guard, I trust you welcome the consequences.

Perhaps they could have not gone down to the west end and provoked it. I don't know. You guys get it. Just an observation.

I do feel like in the intervening 19 years since the last riots, Cincinnati police learned how to handle things better.

I mean you still have the sheriff’s department running a “Blue Lives Matter” flag up the pole during protests but hey nobody’s perfect!

I don't know. Seems it may have been smarter to stay in the business district and not go down to the residential areas.

Shootings don't help. It's going to be an even worse week here now. Seems Lexington's approach of deescalating was smarter.

Lexington didn't kill an unarmed black woman in her own bed, have 7 people shot in the middle of downtown on Friday, have looting and rioting, and doesn't have an African American community the size of the West End. So there wasn't really the need or tension around town.

You were just making fun of dudes carrying guns in front of government buildings 2 weeks ago, bubba.
