Speaking of bars and Louisville bars being open until 4 am while Lex bars closed earlier. How many of you nimrods left Lexington around midnightish and made the trek to Louisville to get in a couple more hours and scope that scene? Don't be bashful, i know there are a few of you crazy kittens that did this.

-Timbuk2 makes a solid product, my current laptop carrier.

-We ordered a bunch of lightweight logo'd facemasks. Should have enough to send a few out to loyal fans. I have one that is made of a under armor type material and it was nice when it was cooler but I'm switching to one of those neck gaiter things I got in the Bourbon Chase a few years back.

-Always had a blast when coming to party at UK. No doubt it was a better college campus and town but the bar closing situation sucked. And if we're being honest the bar scene in general, especially that era, was pretty meh compared to other SEC towns.

4a was unreal and honestly too damn late during the jager bomb era. Mercy. However, there were no closing problems because of 4a last call. Nice try at a spin.

-We made a few ill-advised trips back from Lex -> Lou. Do not suggest. Team effort.

-BLT craving fixed. Magee's is dope.

-With social distancing meetings are up like 25,000%. We get it. We have teams, zoom, google, facebook, facetime and they're great. Phone calls or emails are nice too.

-Lol at our boy @SAECATFAN. He falls under the Palmetto Flag trance every time he visits. He was smitten last night. Happy for the guy. Enjoy.

-Charleston is certainly on my list for places I want to end up but those people and their slight hint of pompous superiority still irks the **** out of me.

-If Pre K graduation wasn't so cute it would be really annoying.

-Weather the next 5 days is going to be perfect. High 70's and cool mornings. Get out there and enjoy.

Surely you all mean to be posting this.

Blue on white, white on blue, and the corresponding versions for The University of Miami. All the hats a Lexington teen needed in the late 80s/early 90s.

Ron, we probably have crossed paths multiple times. Lass was one of Erick's first bartenders he hired, if not the first, when he bought his share of The Paddock and was still partners with Scott. We also were in many pictures on those walls.

Having your girlfriend behind the bar while throwing down with your buddies then just keeping the party rolling when the doors "closed," talk about some wild nights.

Knowing someone IRL that posts here would go a long way towards making this thread less embarrassing to explain to my wife. But it definitely sounds like we likely did hard drugs together.

UK scheduling ND for a home/neutral/away series is shots fired at IU. Love it.
Had a girlfriend who went to St. Mary's, basically across the street from Notre Dame and i ventured up to this game. Think we have played them more than any school outside of conference? They used to give out an MVP of the game award as well, presented by Notre Dame.

YMCA opening indoor pools for exercise classes and lap swimming. I think it’s silly all pools aren’t open. How is this safer than outdoor pools being open? Because outdoor they won’t stay 6 ft apart? Well gyms open this weekend. I’m guessing they haven’t moved every machine so that they are 6 ft apart and in locker rooms no way there is enough room to stay 6 ft apart.

Lap pools are for adults exercising (generally)
Outdoor pools are for kids playing (generally)

Same reason gyms are open but playgrounds aren't.

I once saw a child licking the bleachers at Commonwealth. It was a miserable November day and there were a lot of empty seats. He was just strolling down the aisle, licking away. I assume his parents were dead.
And that child....

... well he grew up to be famous television star Andy Dick. And now you know, the rest of the story.

They’ve roped off every other machine and cardio equipment, can’t move benches and locker rooms are closed so far here.

My thing is, if you’re concerned about getting the virus just stay away from the gym for another month, plenty of ways to exercise outside. And if you’re too old to be working out in the heat because it’ll kill you, well Dolores, pick your poison.

The gym and the hospital are basically the two dirtiest places you can go.

It’s because kids’ **** particles don’t float around in the aether and into your mouth the way they do in water.

Is Andy really still holding his 5 pm show? I had no idea, until I noticed KSR's daily "Beers with Beshear" [[sick]] post. Why? Is that really still necessary?*

*(By the way, I am one who thinks it's possible to consider his continued shows to be silly, yet at the same time, I'm *against* terrorist threats and effigies. Sorry in advance for the equivocation o_O).
