I mean, I knew some cheerleaders back in the day. These allegations seem quite PG-13.

Buddy of mine looking to upgrade his boat...our group of friends are all being terrrible enablers...now he got me thinking about it too...the itch never ends, better keep to myself.

Shew nice day in the market.

Three more days till steakfest.

I remember when Krazy asked y’all if bourbon was a good drink, showed off his closet bourbon stash, and then told y’all he was gonna make his own bourbon. Then he did that ****. In like one year.

Notice how the program started trending downwards as soon as Rex was invited back

Literally 1,000 better options for that spot.

It's an actual joke that Rex has the platform with UK sports that he does after 2014.

Guess there's white guilt involved from his playing days

But Rex can EAD and DIAF

How many are willing to come back and play goofy sidekick to Buzz Baker.

Now, Rex is a famous viral dog tweeter. The dude has no shame.

Shorts:

- I completely agree that meeting random people off a sports fan internet website is loser behavior.

- How awesome was PearlJam “Present Tense” to close “The Last Dance.”

- The best Jordans were the only ones I ever owned - the Jordan 5s. The 4s were legit, too.

- Don’t think it’s ever going to stop raining. jmo

- I like a good sea foam green worked into the interior of a home.

- During that blissful 90 minutes separating my bed time and my wife’s, been alternating episodes of two PBS docs - New York and Ken Burns’ Baseball. Both long and outstanding.

- Speaking of outstanding, BRax’s boy’s Herro bedroom is ridiculous. Well done.

- Remodeling our bathrooms and just found some pristine pine flooring underneath our upstairs carpet. eek

- Braxton Garage Beer is a nice little domesto alternative if you want to stay local. Hudy Delight, also, of course.

- Is my wife the only female who when driving treats a redlight like it’s halftime? Immediately zones out, starts texting, checking her makeup out, falls into a daydream. Not once since I’ve met her has she responded in the appropriate time to a new green light.

- I don’t know how much I’m saving on establishment drinks these days but it’s a helluva lot. That’s been one positive.

- Okey dokey- have a nice little Tuesday, kids.

True...but my Total Wine budget is being blown out of the water...almost a wash.

The establishment drink savings come to an end each day this weekend.

- it's uncanny. *every time*. Starting to think its a ploy to make sure i volunteer to drive everywhere. Genius if so. I didn't do laundry for the first 15 years of our marraige after one "accident" w/ a beloved sweater. I now do my own because my clothes require special attention, because of course they do.

-DomesticatedCatChad is an intersting read. In a good way. I can't wait for newborntiredAFcatchad though.

-First thing I did at our last two "old homes" is rip up the carpet to see what was underneath. Rook.

-So, some chick got cut and basically bombed the whole program over cheerleaders having normal college parties? FOH.

-Told this story a few times but dated a cheerleader in HS and went to a few of those "competitions." I don't know how crazy pageant mom is but good lord I was uncomfortable. Batshit crazy would be a compliment. But little girls at 4-5 years old all dolled up, rollers in their hair, Moms screaming, girls crying, it was unbelievable. Really poor decision for an old pro like Bozo.

- @ cars floating down Zandale Roads yesterday. Yikes.

-Can't wait to hear if Willy is back in the office next week? EDGE. OF. MY. SEAT.

*Pearl Jam being my favorite band- I thought that was absolutely awesome. The lyrics were pretty spot on for MJ. No Code doesnt get the credit it deserves.... "Smile" and "Off He Goes" back to back is instant nostalgia for me.

*And the Rax kids room decor made me long for the days when you could just hang up a poster of your favorite team/player and that was it... It takes my wife on average, 2 years from an idea to completion on home remodeling projects.

*Rex is doing the social media image rehabilitation perfectly....
1. Rock bottom fallout
2. Lay low a bit- through in a few half-apologies every now and then
3. Use social media to only steal and post things like puppies and other "This is the content i'm here for" that nobody can ever dislike.... over time people associate the content with him directly and now he's perceived as such a humble, great, dog loving contributor of society.

That's how you scrub felony trafficking charges and theft charges from the public memory.

*What an odd duck but you have to be a bit jealous that Rodman was still able to get the job done while mixing in completely ill-timed off court flings.

*Louisville this weekend. 18 holes Friday and Saturday, probably fire up the grill... drink my dad's bourbon.

*Why on earth did UK have a long-standing university attorney serving as a team advisor for the cheerleaders? They didnt foresee that monitoring a group of attractive co-eds at an off campus overnighter may lead to some extracurriculars? I know he had that role for ages- but thats not a justification- that makes it ever more bizarre.

*Hey- lets have a day.

* Air Jordan 4s are the GOAT, imho.

* If you love outdoor, mountain scenery and doggies -- Harrison Ford's Call Of The Wild remake is worth 90 minutes of your time. It's not winning any awards anytime soon, but will make you love your furry friends a little more.

* Book list....

- Where The Crawdads Sing (just finished) -- outstanding
- Little Fires Everywhere -- inspired by the Hulu series
- The Topeka School
- The Nickel Boys
- Go Set A Watchman

I'm basically just reading whatever Oprah tells me to.

* Just booked 2 round trips flights to Jackson Hole in August for $410. Yippee. Been wanting to go visit Yellowstone and Grand Teton for quite some time, and thanks to an economic collapse, it's now very affordable.

* This hydroxycholoquine debate is unbelievably stupid. Jesus H Christ.

* From DeAndre Williams' handler:

“Once DeAndre hit the portal, (Penny) Hardaway was there from the very beginning until the end. Kentucky came a week later. You have to look at it that way,” Roy said, They’re Kentucky, they think they can show up to the dance and steal your girl. I guess they had another thing coming when it came to [recruiting vs.] Coach Hardaway.

To get some things straight....

- we can, and WILL show up late and steal your girl
- you committed to Penny Hardaway [laughing]

* Have carnal knowledge of more than a few Kentucky cheerleaders on my resume, and they were every bit as wild, hard partying, and drug fueled as you'd expect a bunch of college kids to be. No surprise.

But the coaching staff can't participate in the shenanigans, and that's where those dudes got into trouble.

* In a show of support for my local economy, I've drank nothing but craft beer since the lockdown over 2 months ago. It's great, but ho-lee smokes, what I wouldn't give for a tall, cold, Miller Lite draft.

* I'm just here to entertain -- and to titillate.

During that blissful 90 minutes separating my bed time and my wife’s

I get up at 5 am for a reason. My wife in college once stayed with her parents who live out of state. She woke up to use the bathroom at 4 am. Her dad was in his undershirt and sweats, smoking at the kitchen table and reading. She tried to get mad at him for smoking in the house.

His only words were sage: "This is my time."

In other words, Team Hatboggan.

My understanding that the coaching staff was there but not around the shenanigans. I don't think they were out there supplying the booze. Sounds like they were just turning a blind eye.

I absolutely despise Pearl Jam. My senior year of HS my vehicle was a 1988 Ford Aerostar with a non functioning tape deck so the radio was all I had. Our main radio station played “Last Kiss” every 10 minutes and I hated that song more and more with each listen. Completely soured me on that **** band.

The last dance was amazing, sad to see it end. I grew up obsessed with Jordan, my first memory of sports was watching him play, was basically my hero growing up. Reading an article about how his daughter had to google him and she’s almost 30 made me feel like the old men that obsessed about Dr J and Oscar Robertson when I was a kid. Man time just keeps ticking.

Can we get like 3 or 4 touching days in a row where the weather isn’t complete ****? It’s the middle of May come the touch on.

This whole corona thing end up being a surprising blessing in disguise, completely reworked and tooled my business that I wouldn’t have ever had time to do, go figure.

Maybe we can have attractive cheerleaders now instead of 4’8” gymnasts. Because, if we’re all being honest, no one gives a **** about the championships.

They have turned a blind eye for at least 14 yrs. Whether it went on each and every year is unknown.

Interesting interview from Evan Daniels with Wall:

“I was playing with Xavier [Henry] and Xavier was a talented player but he was just shooting the ball so much, so mad he wasn’t getting the ball, I called Cal up and was like, ‘‘Cal when you switch to Kentucky, if he’s coming, I promise I won’t go,’” Wall explained. “I told him that straight up. I told him I can’t go because I was like me, DeMarcus, E-Bled [Eric Bledsoe] and all of these guys are about to sacrifice and he has to sacrifice, we’re not going to get a lot of shots. We all are used to averaging over 25 or more on our team and we’re not about to be like that and I don’t think he could buy into that.”

I think his brother was trying to go to school too and I think Cal ended up not bringing him and I was like, ‘OK, I’m going to Kentucky,’” Wall said. “I think if Xavier would have went then I would’ve ended up going to Miami.”

Isn't Deandre Williams like 23 or 24 and a Sophmore? Why in the world did he have a "handler" to begin with?

- Jordan 5s are the GOAT. State law.

- I didn't find The Last Dance to be very informative or groundbreaking, but that's not what I "needed" it for. I enjoyed the hell out of it just for the nostalgia purposes alone. It's been said that time is the longest distance between 2 places, but man 1998 doesn't seem that long ago to me.

I remember getting back from a random day at Kings Island in time to watch Game 6. I remember when Jordan made that last shot and Costas waxing nostalgic about how that will be an iconic sports moment for all time, and I was like, "there's still 5 seconds left on a sideline out of bounds play here! Better respect Stockton and Malone more than that!" Costas was right, and I was wrong.

- But that entire Summer of 1998, though. Like many of you, that was a very fruitful time for me. I was 22, single as I could possibly be, just getting ready to prepare for the rest of my life. No real responsibilities other than getting through the rest of my classes and trying not to overdraw my checking account. Apartment pool and cookouts with the crew every single day. An entire half-life ago. All I can do is look back and smile. Thanks, MJ.

*(Didn't mean to get all "Richie" on your asses right there, but couldn't help it. Forgive me.)*

- When my brother was 15, he went on a school sponsored trip to Cancun. Every night after "lights out," he and his buddy (also a high school sophomore) snuck out of the hotel and partied on the streets of Cancun. Catchaser has good stories to tell. I'm guessing the statute of limitations is up for those clueless chaperones?

I don't understand the people who are saying "well, 'The Last Dance' settled the debate forever. Jordan is the GOAT. No question."

How did a documentary which outlined events that occurred over 20 years ago settle anything? Are there people out there who saw it and said "wow, you mean Jordan won 6 titles? And had two threepeats? And was competitive? I had no idea. He really was the best ever!"

People who already thought he was the greatest player in history had their opinions reinforced, and those who disagree just sat through a 10 hour infomercial on him and didn't learn anything new.

Confirmation bias is something else.

I'm not sure the 5's were my favorite in retrospect but at the time they did feel like something from the future...the reflecting tongue, clear bottoms, shoelace tie and array of different color combos. It was a step up, for sure.
