Good to see Amazon get their free annual commercial from 60 Minutes tonight.
When do they officially take over the world? Next year? 2022?

Portnoy can be a dope but him winning the auction to watch a Monday Night game with Roger Stokoe Goodell at his house is a recipe for high comedy*.
*no chance the shield allows that to happen
What kind of dumbass legitimately wants to watch a football game with Roger Goodell, let alone pay huge money for it?
[laughing]
Talk about a dude with absolutely zero self awareness.
Jordan hitting .202 at AA was absolutely incredible at 31 without playing baseball for 15 years
I was talking about Goodell lacking self awareness. A dinner date with him sounds like the very last pick in the Make-A-Wish fantasy draft.
So aside from Portnoy pulling an all time troll maneuver — what slack jawed fool bids on that dubious experience?
And if you read that ESPN long form about his time with the Barons, he was only trending up.
What a terrible take. Wow.Can’t believe so many of you are aware of or GAF about Barstool.
Quite a bit of revisionist history with Jordan's baseball career. Don't let the enthusiasm of his aura and The Last Dance blind you to his abilities.
He barely hit .200, his on-base % was below .300, and he hit for almost no power. Add to that he led the league in errors, and was a horrible baserunner -- getting thrown out on 18 of 48 stolen base attempts.
So he was basically the worst hitter, base runner, and fielder in the league that season. Of course you can assume he'd have been a much better player had he committed full time, but it's impossible to say to what extent. It would take a mighty gigantic leap of faith to think he'd tranform from the worst player in the league to a major leaguer simply by making it his full time job. Technically, almost anyone would be capable of being the worst player in the league.
Happy to drop a big ole [eyeroll] on this hysteria.
-Forde somehow wrote an article about Duke, Zion, FBI investigations, Kansas, recruiting violations and didn't find a way to work Kentucky or Calipari in there? Is he going soft?
-Gee, wonder why WCC hates Barstool?
-Jordan hadn't played baseball above HS and not at all in 14 years. He then went out and hit above Mendoza in AA. That's fairly impressive in itself.
-That series is awesome, can't believe it's surpassing the hype. Worship.
-Got a bit snookered Saturday night with the boys on Zoom. Woke up pretty fuzzy yesterday and it took until mid-afternoon to get over it. High proof bourbon, shew.
-80s in the forecast. Finally. Thank you. LFG.
-Dave started out a bit too weird but glad I kept watching. It's turning into a decent show.

For me, if you’re skilled/athletic enough to play basketball you have the ability to excel at any sport given time/practice.
hitting .200 was a solid accomplishment. He also drove in 50 runs, nothing to sneeze at.
