Feel bad for gym owners...going to be a lot of people that figured out an "at home" workout routine and older clientele that just won't be comfortable going back, period.
No. I'm as staunch a fitness freak as there is and have made due in this post-apocalyptic hell but the moment they open, I and most others will rush back in. Only so much you can do in your basement with limited tools of the trade. If anything they may see a similar New Year's Day lift from all the sedentary f**ks who need to atone for the last few months.

Plus, yoga pants > your four walls.

More likely a lot of Peloton's and other at home gym equipment will be had on E-Bay for a deep discount.

Honestly, there’s a bunch of industries that probably needed to get knocked down a peg or two. A global pandemic and financial collapse to thin the herd a bit.

When people are paying $8 for gourmet popsicles, and $200 a month for meathead gyms without AC, and $60 for a cut of steak in Lexington, and $16 for a pair of socks, and $125 for sweat pants.....it’s about gd time for the bubble to burst.

What happened to you America?

-I switched to Hari Mari. Solid flop. No break in period required.

-Business will always adapt. For some, like us, contact tracing is easy. For others it's more difficult but they honestly crave that info anyways. "You're required to sign in to our store, please give me your name and email address." -> enters in database for marketing use... and contact tracing. Restaurants can use open table or similar apps, they all will.

-All those luxuries and more will still exist. What will be knocked down is companies that were fat and happy realizing they can do with 75% of their staff and more people can work remotely. So you have massive layoffs and swaths of expensive commercial real estate vacant.

-Gyms are going to be odd. I've become good friends with the owner of mine(and my trainer). He's treading water b/c he's small and still able to virtually train several clients but it's really kind of silly he's lumped in with the mega gyms. At most he has 6 people in there and can easily accommodate distancing. I'll still go there but I bet you see Average Joe at Planet Fitness shy away. He thinks a good portions of his clients may never return.

-Strange day for me. Wednesday after Derby is usually the day my self loathing anxiety ridden hangover shows signs of weakening. I get my taste back, throat isn't sore, I vow to go on a strict diet and give up booze for an extended period.

* LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) - The Nutter Field House Hospital is likely coming down soon.

The news came as a part of the UK HealthCare's board of trustees virtual meeting on Tuesday. UK HealthCare projects a $160.7 million loss for the months of March-June. UK Healthcare says the makeshift hospital may no longer be needed. 400 beds were brought into the football practice facility to house patients.

Money well spent, IMO.

* Picked up a nice 3 star RB this morning with an offer from Tennessee and BEST RECRUITER EVER Jeremy Pruitt, so that's something.

Tucker unblocked me yesterday.

Ha. He unblocked me also

Not me. :(

My Reefs are toast, what's the best flip flop out there?
Been working out at home and have a good setup but ready to push some weights.

Hari Mari is the best flop out there. Super durable. Have 3 pairs for over a year and I come from a position of knowledge.

That's really the key in all of this, regular girls just dont fill things out like you see at the gym.
Running bodies are for the birds. Give me a jacked gal. I already know that it’s because I’m gay so save it.

So what is the definition of a jacked gal?

Is this when you go from toned up female appearing hot chick in yoga pants-to a flexing, maybe she has a penis look?

No, just built. A “CrossFit” style but preferably one that prefers to lift. Thick booty and legs, chest beefers can be there or not, I’m a butt fan.

There are also people who aren't paying those prices for those products.

An item is worth a varying amount to the consumer.....$1 or $20....doesn't matter. There are people who won't pay the lower amount and those who won't pay the higher amount. Your Pro V1 user isn't going to pay for a TopFlite....and vice versa.

Really cool baseball article including Eric Davis's insane 162 game stretch...

https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/29138784/eight-amazing-mlb-seasons-only-happen-1980s

""You're in love with a fantasy," Gil's girlfriend, Inez, says to him at one point in the movie. Except with Davis for one calendar year that fantasy was absolutely, unabashedly true. From June 11, 1986, to July 4, 1987, Davis played 162 games, starting 152 of them. He hit .308/.406/.622 with 47 home runs, 98 stolen bases, 149 runs and 123 RBIs.

In July of 1986, Davis hit .381/.465/.702 with six home runs and 25 stolen bases in 26 attempts in 24 games. "The statistics look imaginary," Joe Posnanski wrote two years ago at MLB.com. "Think of Eric Davis as the greatest folk hero of them all." Sports Illustrated put Davis on its cover in May of 1987 and compared him to Willie Mays, Hank Aaron and Roberto Clemente.
