Kind of sh-tty of the NCAA to do this while so many people are suffering.

On the other hand... pretty generous for the NCAA to cancel your basketball team while the entire sport is already canceled. Serving a probationary year when not one game is going to even be played works out pretty swell for them.

Danielle Lerner asked if Louisville will be working with the other entities involved (Rick Pitino and Kenny Johnson) in coordinating their responses to the allegations.

Vince should've explained to her that it's not typical to coordinate with the person you intend to blame for everything.

Yep, same ridiculousness as the Astros and Red Sox punishments. Manfred is a *****.

-social distance visits/cookouts on Friday and Saturday evenings. Smores in the fire pit. Trying to talk the wife into a salt-water pool.

-saturday: removed storm windows, cleaned windows then reinstalled storm windows. Difficult but *really* satisfying work. I have a blister.

-Sunday: planted a few more coral bells. Postulated as to what to plant when my two(2) 40+ yo blue spruce trees are taken down one(1) this fall...the other has a year or so left. Leaning towards a foster holly tree or two(2). Also gonna grab some pyracantha for the fence line.

-fleet foxes makes *fantastic* music.

I used to buy all of mine until I found a rub that is very easy and cheap to make.. Go to amazingribs.com. There is a rub called "Meatheads Memphis Dust", it is the very best rub for pork I have ever tried.
I did that one and didn't like it. Didn't care for ginger or the rosemary.

The Ruby’s meal also included asparagus if you care about such things. The guest relations manager called yesterday to make sure all was good and to ask if we had any suggestions or requests.

Speaking of rubs, we bought a can of Ruby’s rub and Anth used it on the steaks.

The press conference is boring thus far.
I've went through 5 cans of that rub.

Big fan.

Sorry Rogue. That sucks.

Coworker lost two daughters in a car accident last Tuesday. 5 and 8. Two other kids in the car. Son 4 and daughter 11 survived but in intensive care. Single father when his wife decides pain pills and heroin were more important. Life sucks sometimes.

Sorry Rogue, that sucks. Covid related?

Clown-a pic maybe helpful...but as we say in my
Line of work, Mri don’t lie.

Amazeballs>goetta>sauerkraut balls.

For those who don’t follow me on social media, bought the Traeger 780 today. Spent the afternoon putting it together while taking my first crack at the magical pork belly burnt ends on the egg. Did about 5 pounds worth/half slab.

Man, those things were good. Rubbed in my usual butt rub and smoked at 225 for two hours. Then wrapped tight in foil with bbq sass for another two hours at 220. Made three separate batches, Kansas City, Memphis, and Texas...wife preferred the Memphis but dad liked the Kansas City. I’m torn, they were all awesome, was maybe feeling the Texas a little more.

Plan to break in smoker tomorrow. Wings, brisket, pork butt this week.

Somebody get me a salad. F U Rona, I’ll do it myself.

You follow Chef Tom? Dude nails it.

The trick is to use those cookie racks so you can spin them around and take off heat to get consistent color.

it is not health food. 3 or 4 chunks and you’re done.

Yeah I used perforated foil tray over the indirect heat and turned them on the hour to even the color on all the sides. Ended with a nice crust but tender and juicy inside. They soaked up the sauce on part two of the cook in the foil.

Didn’t blow anybody but made some strong impressions:)
