Grew up on DD coffee, in the northeast. By the time hit junior high, drinking every Saturday morning before basketball practice, 73 style. Donuts and coffee to get blood flowing. Yeah, very weak blend but enough to hook you on coffee for life. Hence, the move to Starbucks and stronger mixes.

Sunergos in Louisville has great coffee. I alternate that with one of the subscription services (mistobox I think).

Since refining my palette about 5 years ago, I've become a coffee snob. Probably more than I care to admit, frankly. I can hardly stomach Starbucks, DD, etc.

Tried black coffee about 3 times when I went on keto and just couldn't stand it. DD store bought, teaspoon of erythritol and a little whole milk and your $8 a bag coffee will taste a little better.

I'm no economics ball but don't those subsidies enable KY citizens to spend more of their money on products made in those states thus helping keep their economies humming? From a big picture point of view.

Heine absolutely does NOT have the best Espresso.

I know you're an out-of-towner and should stick to Lexington, but give Sunergo's a try next time you're in town. Up to 3 locations now, I think...but worth it. #goat Their **** is magic.

NEED YOUR TEEFERS CLEANED? NO PROBLEM YOU CAN HAVE A STRANGER JAM THEIR HAND INSIDE YOUR THROAT AND BREATHE CARBON DIOXIDE DIRECTLY INTO YOUR WIDE OPEN MOUTH FOR UPWARDS OF 35 MINUTES BUT DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT GETTING THAT FADE - OFF LIMITS

That's not true, exactly. Dentists have been closed down for about a month, bub.

Emergency services have been given a very strict definition, which is bogus, b/c anyone who's ever had a severe 'teef' issue knows that's about as emergency as it gets.

...not to mention these specially trained employees doing everything in their power to not work even if allowed in certain circumstances b/c they are making BANK by not working. You can't just 'plug in' new ones.

I speak from a position of knowledge on this as the first guy in 2 generations to not enter the family practice. My family's shop has been shut down for a month+

Best of those mentioned. Not best in general. Would love to give that place a try but it's no where near where I'd be if I ever get to return to Louisville.

In that case, will you give me some of your money if I promise to only use it to buy services from you? Like give me $20 and then I'll pay you $20 to cut my grass.

Pretty sweet of the state to give dentists a 36 hour heads up on a Friday at 5pm that they can open but require a bunch of PPE that none of their vendors can supply and that they're supposed to be reserved for hospitals to use on covid. Also, new procedures that will be hard to implement in short order. Almost like they did it on purpose to delay the openings but claim they're making progress.

And, like you said, getting employees off 900/wk UE.

Sungeros / Quills / Prima sell prosumer Italian espresso machines... great online store. Extract your own shots and don’t have to deal with tatted, pierced douchebags.

I'm saying if KY doesn't get those subsidies then taxes would have to be raised and you wouldn't be able to get those new iPhones every two years. Multiply that by all the ******** in red states and all of the sudden iPhone sales drop and Billy Joe iPhone(in CA) either gets his salary cut or laid off.

Welp, were all set to open here in Louisiana on May 16, except for....

sit down restaurants
bars
and
barber shops

o_O

I was scared straight and happily compliant for 6 weeks, but that’s quickly changed to reflect my cynicism and disgust for nearly every elected official. We’ve moved past reason and common sense, and it’s pretty much all lobbying and politicking at this point.

Large coffee with 3 creamers, $1.29 Macky D's is as good as any. Some people just have to go out of their way even with coffee to try and one up and be different. It is a GD cup of coffee , not a milkshake or smoothie.

Okay, that's officially your worst take.

Got word from the governor that I can open back up May 1st. Absolutely ecstatic. Got absolutely no heads up and only a 36 hour warning which is way too soon to actually be prepared but it will be just fine, some employees don’t want to come back because they’re making more due to unemployment which is beyond disappointing, but just ready for this damn circus to be over. GYERO should rejoice as well.
Now all we have to look forward to is the second wave in October!

I mean think about it, it doesn’t get much worse for spreading a respiratory virus than being up in somebody’s grill. Dentists and hygienists have to wear respirators, face shields, goggles, gowns and gloves and change them between every patient.

That’s a lot of ppe. Not sure if you’ve noticed but it’s kinda hard to come by.

I think it is necessary to point out that before WWE wrestler Kane became mayor of Knoxville, his wrestling gimmick was Isaac Yankem, DDS -- an evil dentist.

Yet another way Tennessee's COVID response is far superior to ours, imo. We need an expert in fake dentistry and chokeslams stat.

Can’t say a damn word in here about dentistry, poultry, pizza or rap without BBdK in here talking down to you.

If Big Dental, Big Poultry, Big Pizza, and Big Rap don’t survive this pandemic, I’m not losing any sleep over it.

They dug their own graves, imho.

* My wife just chopped down my Feauxhawk on the back deck. Giggles and laughter ensued. I now look like the fattest dude in Auschwitz. Pretty rancid look, actually. Should’ve stayed with Kajagoogoo.

* if you didn’t know, there is a worldwide bicycle shortage. I just got one and there were slim pickings. Went to three different shops on a Monday, and there were lines of masked shoppers sitting outside all of them. Crazy. Bikes and rescue dogs are all the rage.

* DiBlasio puts city on lockdown - but he and his wife are doing hikes in park. That guy is beyond tone deaf.

* @krazykats sent my bottle. Just want to State this for the record.

* 25% off sale on Norlans glasses FYI.
