If you get recalled, you have no choice but to go back to work. If you think you can stay on furlough you will not only lose your job, you will forfeit your unemployment. Good luck finding another job if you're stupid enough to test that.
Underestimating some people. Also, it would take at least a month to enforce that.

The free money thrown at everyone is just comically ridiculous. It’s incentivized millions to not work and also given businesses that didn’t even need it free money (which was given to them to keep employees employed that now don’t want to work because you’ve given them free money). Imagine how all you staunch republicans would be going crazy with this welfare state we’ve created if we had a democratic president. But it’s a republican - it’s almost like all politicians are complete dipshits no matter the party!

My wife who needed the PPP loan didn’t get it, her dad who didn’t need it at all got it, and we’ve both had employees asking us for RAISES when they get back or else they’re going to sit on their asses and collect their free govt checks because it pays more. I swear every passing year I despise politicians and their stupid pawn followers (UKO, etc) more and more.

The need it vs didn't need it is mostly journalist that don't have a clue about how a business operates and couldn't read a PL, IS, or BS if their life depended on it. Only reason I was pissed at the franchises getting it is because they avoided the EFMLA and EPSL, which is BS.

If you don't need it then the regulations in place convert it to a loan rather than forgivable.

The smaller companies should get funded this time around. If anyone has questions I'd be happy to help. No less than 30 hours in the last 3 weeks of webinars, meetings, and round tables going over this ****. Same with PPE when your places open back up. We've found some pretty reliable vendors to get everything.

Ok?

Not sure that changes the fact that some people wouldn’t be disappointed getting furloughed for a month or two. Which was my point.

Shorts and the occasional long:

- If/when we miss Haarms, it will be a major disappointment. He’s not Alcindor but he’s a good system and roster fit, and I was excited to start two seemingly ego-less seniors.

- I understand the frustration with Cal and the culture. I don’t think it all has merit but much of it does.

- The failure to capitalize on Kentucky kids has legs. Why we didn’t add that sharpshooter Auburn took is beyond me. Why we don’t recruit the Hollingsworths with the same vigor of the Whitneys is an issue- especially considering one seems to have a bigger impact over a longer period than the other.

- The three point attempts is just downright F’ing stupid. I don’t want us to be the Bombinos but when you have Ulis/Booker/Harrisons and you attempt 5 bombs in the F4, it’s insanity. Likewise with Quick and Maxey on your squad.

- Biggest fan issue with me is the now-constant cake-baking every season. I’m ok with happening upon a young high-ceiling team every third year in this era, possibly every other year with March splendor, but every November/December being a chore is BS.

- The March runs of late don’t bother me as much. I think we’ve had championship-level teams 3 of the last 4 years by March. I mean- we lost on a buzzerbeater and in OT in the E8 in the last four seasons. Couple bounces and we possibly have a couple championships. That’s college basketball. In this era, our March teams have been good enough.

- As far as next year, we’ll see. Again- some have seemed to forget how good elite talents can be at UK.

- Tell ya what I’m sick of- headlines stating “Could” from media reputable and otherwise:

“Coronavirus could comeback even worse”
“We could see an even more deadly outbreak this fall!”

And I could win the Powerball. How LIKELY is it. Stop with the ********. It’s fear-mongoring horseshit from people well aware that today’s reader takes everything in 140 characters or less.

I work in healthcare and am privy to the overall mindsets of our leadership. There’s a sense of optimism that is absent when I read the newspaper. Nobody says we’re in the clear but the “coulds” aren’t delivered cloaked in pessimism all the time.

- He’s not going to change your life but I really enjoy Luke Combs. He’s easily as good as you get these days with the country radio new generation. That’s not saying much with most of the dbags, though. I know Wodie gives him props.

- Picked up a Larceny store pick (92 proof). Had never seen one before. Damn good for $23. And save it, proofheads. I don’t need kerosene every pour and I actually liked not justifying a $50 deduction from my wallet. Makes it taste even better.

- Question- are all these baby boys being named Axel inspired by Axel Rose or Axel Foley?

- So puuuuuuuumped about the draft tonight.

- And of course PTI is against Burrow. Who hurt you bro?

I mean. At this point Kentucky basketball isn't worth losing sleep over.

The University made their bed with a coach 5 years past his prime and is Obviously not the same guy he was in 2009. That guy had a chip on his shoulder. The current coach is just siphoning taxpayer money.

Football school.

If you're counting on gyero polling to support your musical claims then you've already lost, bub.

Plenty of really good music out there. I just don't understand how you could ever arrive at the moment where you feel the need to play ******, contrived, Walmart music like this Luke Combs jagoff.

Come on, Chad. Be better than Luke Combs. You have it in you.

-Speaking of, Dad's got a 6 pack of Hofbrau in the fridge. My favorite beer on earth. Nectar of the Gods.

The only knock I have on Burrow is that he was entirely pedestrian until last year ... when he had the greatest season for a QB in college football history. Is that the "real" version of the guy? Are you happy if you get less than that? Who gives a f*** it's the Bengals he's doomed to failure no matter what?

I’ve never minded the likes of McGraw, Chesney, Dierks Bentley, etc. I haven’t listened to him much, but Combs seems cut from that cloth as opposed to the Sam Hunts.

Also- that’s my father’s favorite brew, fwiw. He downs those drafts quick.

Luke Combs has some great songs and voice. His concert at Rupp was a blast. Maybe he’s just too country for SAE boy. Makes me like him even more now.

No problem with the free food for our hero’s, just wish more healthy items on the menu. I’ve had pizza 4 days in a row.

Will be interesting to see as we “open” things back up how many indulge or stay home in fear.

Do enjoy a nice Hofbrau. Fond memories from Oktoberfest in Munchen.

Us Hollingsworth's are 4 year gamers, knowledgeable, and usually turn into excellent coaches, as history has proven. You will always have great chemistry and locker room brotherhood w/ an H'worth around.

Combs is pretty much the equivalent of a new flavor at Baskin Robbins...good for a while, but in the end, just another scoop of ice cream that needs a helluva lot of toppings to make it worthwhile.

Good selection on the Larceny.

Depends on the spelling and the tats...Axl for the would be rockers.

PTI is already prepping his too much money contract post about Burrow that he will pull out game 5 of the coming season.

Btw...belated congrats on the dad jeans you will soon be wearing.

Fun not very reported on fact regarding the Rona, it seems to be causing strokes in young people. Also saw a nice published case from Detroit of necrotising encephalitis caused by the virus...eating your brain...maybe this is the start of the zombie apocalypse.

I’m as big of a Cal honk as there is in this thread but unfortunately the bloom is off the rose. He’s a great coach, I wouldn’t want anyone else, his recruiting is amazing, but it’s the fact that none of our guys that are here seem to actually enjoy being here is starting to take a lot of the shine off. We were amazing in terms of the results the first 5/6 years but it also seemed like the guys loved BBN.

Cousins who was a consensus top ten pick had to be forced to declare. Darius Miller didn’t even question coming back even though projected a 2nd round pick as a junior. KAT still gets pissed talking about the Wisconsin game.

Recently we’ve had Gabriel talking **** to potential recruits after bolting for the G league. Vanderbilt wouldn’t even play. EJs dad said he’d waste the year here next year. Richards and IQ had “clearly nothing to gain” to come back and lead a team to a title to be the 57th pick in the draft. I mean what the hell gives? What’s going on? If the current players don’t even like being at Kentucky why the hell am I so invested? Something about the culture needs to change.

"It's eight months so I don't care about shoes or facilities, or locker rooms...

...I just made an awesome connection with them."

Guess what, Slim, you're not gonna need friends in Provo in 8 months. At least you could've kept the biceps and the Nikes you would've gotten in Lex.

Just waking up in the morning gotta thank God
I don't know but today seems kinda odd
No barking from the dogs, no smog
And momma cooked a breakfast with no hog
I got my grub on, but didn't pig out
Finally got a call from a girl want to dig out
Hooked it up on later as I hit the do'
Thinking will i live another twenty fo'
I gotta go cause I got me a drop top
And if I hit the switch, I can make the *** drop
Had to stop at a red light
Looking in my mirror not a jacker in sight
And everything is alright
I got a beep from Kim and she can f**k all night
Called up the homies and I'm askin' y'all
Which park, are y'all playin' basketball?
Get me on the court and I'm trouble
Last week f**ked around and got a triple double
Freaking brothers every way like M.J.
I can't believe, today was a good day

Poetry. Genius.

Cal hates this place more than anybody. Don't forget that, you gd lunatic BJW rubes. Donate to his foundation and quit watching game film.

This actually applies more to other frozen foods than pizza for me, but :joy::100points:

But you ripped/crumpled up the directions part of the package, so you have to piece it back together best you can.

There are few places I feel like a Purdue kid could choose and actually worsen his quality of life, and he chose one of them.

I mean whatever, but I find that remarkable. #ALLIN on Cal's sure to be a hoot 2020-2021 squad!

Gotta assume its pretty easy to recover from necrotizing encephalitis long term.

I do grosser version that than, where I throw away the instant oatmeal pouch every third morning and need to get it back out of the garbage to pour milk in to the exact line of text I prefer (not the line). Luckily, I’m pretty manly, so it’s whatever.
