We go to Florida this year, so cold won't be a factor regardless of when the game is.

Don't think there'll be any jury trials anywhere this year. It's not just the 12 in the box, it's the 400 to 500 (depending on the venue) in the venire that show up on Monday morning for the cattle call. No way people will do that. Half will be scared to and the other half will use the 'rona as an excuse to get out of jury duty.

What happens to those in jail awaiting trial? Guilty until proven innocent? Right to a speedy trial out the window too?

Per the Kentucky Supreme Court’s most recent order:

Reasonable attempts shall be made to reschedule all criminal trials, subject to a defendant’s right to a speedy trial.

I know someone that is in jail for murder that shouldn't be let out. Shouldn't have been let out before the killing.

He later became the poster boy for not letting violent criminals out due to COVID-19

He also admitted to it, btw. So there's that.

- I'm about this >< close to--if actually offered and possible--- to giving up all modern day creature comforts, amenities and technology just to go back and live in the 1950. Or maybe Vegas during the Rat Pack era. We could even push it back to 1948 and just repeat from '48 to '58 and do a Groundhog's Day-like decade type repeating life. Not lying.

- Queen Elizabeth's 94th birthday today. I swear I thought she has been 94 for the last 30 years.

- Food that gets beyond hot and stays that way forever: those cups of microwavable mac and cheese. Step one on the directions should say: Be sure and make 30-minutes before you'd like to eat so it will be edible and not burn the mouth. Mercy.

- A chimney fire will forever be at or near the top of the Most Relaxing Things To Look At list to me.

- MOST UNDERRATED OLD SCHOOL WRESTLERS OF THE 80s AND 90s
1. "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig
2. Arn Anderson
3. Scott Hall
4. Jake "The Snake" Roberts
5. Owen Hart

- Wasn't anymore of a bummer at school when the PE teacher brought out that boring parachute. What a gut punch.

Transfer U.?

Was excited to hear from our 3rd party insurance adjuster that "well it looks to me like there may have been some flashing issues whenever they installed this roof- so the interior water damage isnt something that I would recommend be covered." I asked them to come back out and discuss that with our roofing contractor which prompted a bit of an argument. All I could make out from inside the house was the contractor yelling "So in your expert opinion the roof was likely installed *with* hail damage and they cracked a chimney cap before installing it?" followed quickly by "Do you all even lube people up before you F them?"

So I guess the situation is still ongoing.

Exact same thing happen to me with KFB about 11 years ago. Gave the same BS. I had two estimates for total damage of about $11k. They cut a check for $2500. Reasoning was the same flashing issues. My response was "The GD 85 mph winds from the Derecho storm caused the flashing issue and the whole inner wall of my family room." To no avail, did not get near a fair remedy.

Wanting to escape the time of an adult-harming pandemic and pining for simpler times of a child-harming epidemic (w/ flourishing racism/sexism to boot) is a take-quake.

Is Chet Holmgren going to be one of the most hated players in years?

Elite white guy, could be #1 if Kuminga reclassifies.
Apparently a big trash talker.
Is named Chet
Looks like this

It seems like he’s going to stay home playing in obscurity so that may hurt his status a little.

Starting Rotation

Elle MacPherson SI Edition
Christie Brinkley Vacation
Phoebe Cates Fast Times
Kathy Ireland Swimsuit Edition
Heather Locklear

Nice 80’s list, although I’d sub Tawny Kitaen for Phoebe Cates.

Honourable mention to Cookie from One Crazy
Summer/Hot for Teacher video.

Gronk to Tompa Bay, that’s interesting.

Can one of you former D-Leaguers tell who this Turnip guy is that’s always starting threads? Is it that willy guy you all were infatuated with?
