Juzang's time increased as the year went on and he continued to improve. The path was completely cleared for him to be a starter and have all the shots he wanted. He chose to leave bc he didn't want to compete with two 5 star wings.

This whole debate about players leaving isn't necessarily just about whether or not they're "good" when they leave or if they were ever that good... as fans, we naturally want to root for "our guys" to improve and help our team. The regular replacement of the entire roster never makes them feel like "our guys".

Look I love Cal, this has been a fun run and we can call kids idiots and soft for leaving to go, well, anywhere but here but the fact remains we have a culture of leaving this program after one or two years...it used to be to become a lottery pick now it’s just to GTFO for some reason.
Cal can adjust and adapt, I think he will. I would like him to start by getting a fresh face on the staff that he respects and isn’t just a “yes man”.
