I'm not even that mad most of the guys that lost to Evansville aren't returning. Juzang is really the only one that pisses me off.

Whitney and EJ are morons being advised by a family of morons. We could've used them. They probably would've gotten better. Touch them. Especially EJ. He literally saw firsthand what coming back could do for you (Richards).
Hagans is a head case, but I really think he could've been special if/when he grew up mentally. Could've hurt the team, too... so bye.
Quickley, I understand him going now but might've improved his draft stock by playing PG. (could've hurt it, too)

How is it possible to lose 7 players early (only one of whom will be a first round pick) when you don't even have close to a full allotment of scholarship players?

Hate to bring any optimism (and a preemptive F off to PTI) but land Haarms and we still have one of the 3-4 best rosters in the country.
We haven’t had absolute stud freshmen since Monk/Fox so people may forget a bit how well they usually turn out under Cal. Clarke/Boston are legit.
That said, the cake baking is tiresome and tedious and I hate it.

I’m with wcc on this one. I think we’re looking at a little bit worse version of the Fox/Monk/Bam season. Probably a 4 seed by the tournament and hope you draw the weakest 1.
If Clarke and Boston turn out to be Pippen and Jordan and Brooks morphs into the second coming of Jamal Mashburn we should be ok.

Whitney's DAD thinks he is a lottery pick and wanted him to quit on the team, Juzangs DAD helped talk him into transferring, Reid Travis' DAD didnt like the way he was utilized here and talked to the media about it.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't recall Bledsoe, Cousins, Lamb, Knight, Wall, MKG having fathers so maybe it is time to get back to the basics. Only fathers in the early years were Ortons who was a pain and ADs who we gave $200k to make happy (allegedly).

Perhaps Cal could figure out how to assemble a team again. That would be a start.
Whitney declaring can't be topped but since he quit, I'm not sure if it is equivalent.
Personally, I just resent the universe's persistent message that there are better things to put my faith, time, enthusiasm and energy into than UK basketball and the whims of 18 year olds.

Maybe we would return a valuable wing shooter if he hadn’t been placed behind Whitney (who had the basketball skills of a chair) in the rotation, yanked after every freshman mistake (while our star PG turned it over a record breaking pace without repercussion) and had the one thing he was brought here to do (shoot 3’s) openly mocked by his coach to fans in post game interviews.
I would rather hear about Buckets daughters period than the **** that has been on here the last few days.

I think Cam'Ron "Oh Boy" Fletcher is going to be the third stud. Kid just has that attitude and game. He is the type of player who does not struggle as a freshman, too much confidence. I call for the DJ to spin "Oh Boy" when he is introduced or checks in.
Mintz starts over Askew. Askew is NOT ready to be a Day 1 ninja. He will take some time, which is a good thing, not having to depend on a freshman to figure **** out on the fly. he will end up being a 2/3 year (ducks) player, and we need that. Actually we need 4/5 of them.
Fear of the unknown I think is getting people on edge. Not knowing when this CV **** will end has people full tilt right now and will only get worse every day that we keep getting fed the same **** over and over. Feed us a different flavor of **** on some days, maybe even a positive flavored turd would do people some good, even not a week or so for now people are going buck the system.

If there ever was a time not to go pro, I assume this would be it. I don't see a lot of these second-tier leagues staying in business until the Covid crisis is resolved. Can you even fly to Europe right now?
And stick around college waiting for the season to be canceled instead?
