I always figured college basketball would be in a decent spot after you removed all the pro talent from its ranks. Yeah, it wouldn't be as good as the late 80's/early 90's, but it would normalize with senior led teams that knew how to play basketball together, with extremely talented players who were undersized or a step slow preventing them from going to the next level.
Nope, instead we've apparently got a stockpile of guys who are big and fast, but just absolutely suck at basketball. Yet these guys are good enough - particularly on defense and on the boards - to beat the slow and short guys and leave us with the dogshit product known as D1 college basketball.
