Been watching Let’s Make a Deal and The Price is Right this week. I think Wayne Brady and Drew Carey go out of their way to give as little effort as possible into hosting these shows.
Drew Carey’s performance is shameful. Come back from the last commercial break: “Joe bid $15k, actual price $19k Samantha bid $20k actual price $9k joe wins see you tomorrow”. All said in about 15 seconds.

We’re going to miss (if not already) having “pros” around this country. Guys who can just get the job done with ease, even if they don’t like it. Guys like Bob Barker just aren’t around anymore. If someone is as good at their job as he was, they’re insufferable hipster pedants who do nothing but talk about what they do.

I bet Bob spent approximately 5 minutes a day thinking about the Price as Right when he wasn’t at work. Just crushed some cocktails, goosed a few of the girls, and hit the links. But when he was on camera he did everything perfectly. Now Drew Carey rolls his fat *** on there like he’s too cool for school or something.

I’m so bored.

Currently have a bird stuck inside one of my patio columns. I was fine with letting it die but my wife got involved and they thought it was really horrific to let it just starve in there, so now I’m working on a rescue mission for a robin that’ll die in a few weeks anyway. In fact I’ll probably kill it accidentally while trying to remove it. Will post to social media if successful

- Just had a nice call with my CEO who called to ask about getting everybody else onboard with my Microsoft Teams evangelism. When the call came in, I sent my kids upstairs change (and be quiet) but instead, they put on Ruff Ryders’ Anthem (somehow) and my then my son said, “Hey, Google. Set the volume to 10!”

Amateurs.

Teams isn't bad or anything, but the corporate world acting like a glorified public folder / message board that has Google Drive-like capabilities is God's gift to productivity blows my mind. And I'm referring to Fortune 50 clients. "Hey, we're going to implement Teams to manage process X and it's going to save us $50M a year".

So Juzang just turned 19 years old and has been a Kentucky Wildcat & UCLA Bruin. [eyeroll] What a world.

-Dave doing Ham on Jack's in every single review. :joy: It's actually one of my favorites for it's simplicity, nice little crispy snack when cooked correctly, as he clearly did not.

We’re more interested in project management task delegation and tracking, not the files/Yammer aspect. I still like Omnifocus best for GTD principles, but I have to conform to MS at work.

Dave’s total inability to do anything right is inspiring. A guy who can’t cook, cut, or eat a pizza properly (and grabs dry ice) is a millionaire based partially on eating pizza for a living.

If he can make it, anyone can

Here were his answers to several questions.

How is the recruiting process going and how much he is hearing from Kentucky - "It's going great. They've been in touch a lot, especially Coach Barbee and Coach Justus."

The Sisk guy just texted Haarms......

I don't know **** about Mintz, and his stats don't jump out at you. What do those that have actually watched him play think of the potential fit here?

He averaged 10 for one of the best/deepest teams in the country.

And we’re ALWAYS a guard short.

He’s a good veteran player, the kind of supporting guy we always need more of.

The Dude has started 79 games at a very good program in the Big East - sign me up.

Que the PTI snark about relying on 12 year olds to carry us...but honestly, with Boston and Clarke's all around scoring ability and Askew's shooting I would definitely take an adult-in-the-room steady hand who would have a nice turnover to assist margin assuming that's what he is.

A second year sniper who could play the 2 or 3 would have been nice with a group like that. Dammit JJ.

Still holding out faint hope for Quick to come back and run the show.

I'd like to believe that, but I'm not giving him the benefit of the doubt at this point.
Why would you? He played about 8 good games in 2 years, admitted he overlooked Auburn in the E8, was frustrating both conference seasons, and eventually got suspended for refusing to go in a game that we gave up a 17 point lead to a ****** UT at Rupp.

I asked the question about him returning a few weeks ago because I'm seriously fine moving on without the dude. This is coming from one of the biggest homers in GYERO.

Mr Mintz can be all world and clearly the best guard on our team, but his role will only be “go in when Cal yells at his dipshit freshmen, then come right back out”.

I don't know, guys. Askew has the rep as a heady ballplayer and dead eye shooter which means one thing with Cal ===> quick hook. Probably even will get benched multiple second halves after losing a shooter in the corner and Cal will make some snide post game comments about how we won a home game against Georgia by 4 points and only hit 2 threes...take that you basketball bennies, go back and watch more tape!

****, maybe a do need to meditate some.

The team won the SEC by 3 games with Hagans quite often acting against that outcome. Add to that the fact he was the worst player by far in that elite 8 game by a wide margin. So zero benefit of the doubt given to him.

I'm TEAM CONTINUITY when it comes to the roster and my biggest gripe with Cal is that every single year is roster chaos. For instance, it irritates me that Keion Brooks coming back had to even be a press release.

With that said, I'm not shedding any tears over the "loss" of Hagans. His refusal to come back in the game coupled with him openly mailing it in down the stretch wore out its welcome. Kentucky fans may be redass but we alway love a kid who plays his *** off to the best of his abilities, like Nick Richards. Hagans just seemed like he had ADD and didn't take ritalin.
