All of our stuff is in the basement. I fantasize about the day I’m too old to carry a laundry basket down there and fall to my death.
To make it even dumber, I believe one of the biggest limiting factors is not figuring out the chemicals or whatever, it’s not having enough of the stupid little plastic bits for the swabs.I haven’t really seen this specifically answered, but where, exactly, are ALL THE ******** TESTS?
I mean, seriously, it is preposterous that we are so far behind the curve on f*cking testing.
Every day I hear about some new bad *** test that never seems to make it here, and no stories about ramping up production of said tests. And then I see other countries just testing the absolute f*ck out of people.
What in the hell are we doing here? Get busy dickheads.
Same. All of our stuff is in the basement. I fantasize about the day I’m too old to carry a laundry basket down there and fall to my death.
A *slight* correction was coming but nothing of this scale and magnitude. At the start of 2020 our firm's economists and most others did not see a large sell-off until 2021, with 2020 still being positive, but not at the 30% clip like '19. Interest rates were still historically low as was unemployment and there were no outside factors to disrupt a humming system. Going off historical data that matched up with every year the Dow hit 25% growth or higher; the economy wouldn't match it but still be positive then slow two years later.- Had been having this unsubstantiated feeling for the last half year or so that everything was running too smoothly and our economy had to have a dip coming.
Then the vent was already there. Gas is far better. My water heater (gas) and furnace/ac are in a separate room upstairs, not really in "the attic." It's basically a larger utility closet, so I don't know if that makes any difference.
I'll have to check on the water sensor detector. There is some kind of sensor on the bottom side of the water heater they just installed, but again, I'm basically a mongoloid so I don't have any idea WTF it is for.
Why would anyone get on a ****ing cruise ship with everything going on, and ESPECIALLY after watching that ship float off the coast of California for a month? I don’t get it. I understand some of the ships may have been out on longer cruises, but most of them not.
Black Death is GOAT forever
Ol' Ed Jenner. One of the greatest people to ever live. Saved more lives than just about anyone in history along with Pasteur and Lister. Shout out to Pinker for this useless information. After seeing that chart I can't believe people are worried about Covid-19. Smallpox is what we need to focus on.
I know I felt like black death the next day.Agreed. If I recall correctly, a few of us here sang karaoke with the Black Death cover band at the last Atlanta SECT.
I know I felt like black death the next day.
If you need a test you can get one. TS. They just don't want every Karen and Doug running down there b/c they have a runny nose.
Last week my wife called and said a pipe upstairs had burst and water was pouring into the garage ceiling. So I told her to turn the water off, left my office (because I’m essential) and rushed home. Checked the upstairs, no water. Cut a big hole in the garage ceiling, no water. I told her to turn the water back on. Turns out, the expansion tank on the water heater had burst so it was shooting water up at the ceiling. I went to Lowe’s, picked up the coronavirus and a new expansion tank and had it replaced myself in less than 20m. Still got a hole in my garage ceiling tho
Then the vent was already there. Gas is far better.
I know dumbass but the hole is already cut which is the hard part. Stay in your lane, bub. Whatever that is. Also since it's gas it doesn't need new electric and a drain pan up there will only hold a couple gallons of water and if he can run a drain expell enough to fit through a 3/4 pipe. So that's pretty useless when you're dropping 40 gallons of water. Can't use traditional venting for tankless. Look, either go ask your Dad before you give advice, or don't give it at all.

Why testing is important.Unless you plan on welding people into their homes or test everyone daily.....I'm not sure mass testing can make a huge impact.
Matt Jones comes off as a whiny ***** on twitter.
Will he survive a Mitch McConnell win? It's coming regardless of who was/is running against him.
[laughing] Knew you couldn't let that one go.I know Mitch will win. Anyone who knows me knows I am not a big fan of McGrath. But I don't get my personal happiness (or sadness) about the political success (or failures) of people not important in my life.
I preface this by saying, I don't know you (unlike some of the folks on here who I do know) and you may be wonderful.
But just from reading your comments on here, you are without question the weakest link of the regular commenters on the thread. Your combination of low creativity, lack of intelligence, belief in absurd conspiracy theories, insertion of political dogma into every conversation and overall uninteresting viewing points is truly unparalleled.
Others in here have weaknesses. Some talk politics too much, some say stupid things, some are uninformed, some are boring, some are jerks and some are amazingly self-absorbed. I share some of these traits as well. With all due respect though, you find a way to combine them all into an unbelievable combination of awfulness that hits a heretofore unreached peak of GYERO suckitude. It really is impressive
Of course I don't know you. You may be awesome.
FIFYI preface this by saying, I haven't slapped you in the face (unlike some of the folks on here who I have) and you may be wonderful.
It was very weak liberally wristed slap though.FIFY
