For perspective, it’s important to remember the UK was still holding massive soccer games two weeks ago and their actual plan was to just let the virus infect everyone so at least the survivors would have immunity. They were also preparing for mass graves and whatnot
Sweden going this route if the virus thread is right.

Well, these stupid MFers decided to put a POS con artist in the White House- same F’ing moron who’s been shitting on science, smart people and media- and we wonder why:

a) This dipshit isn’t prepared for a crisis.
b) His dumb-F followers have little respect for doctors, scientists and the media trying to tell us about this upcoming shitstorm.

Let’s just hope this a-hole doesn’t make it worse. I highly doubt it.

The media F’ing loves science and doctors so much they lied about a guy dying from taking chloroquine and started pimping a ****** Chinese study about its effectiveness that didn’t even use the same controls as the French one just to try to own Drumpf.

Firefighters, though. Should definitely listen to them. Well, not the ones who called people racist for being worried about this back in January. And not the ones who said it was just the flu. But you know, the ones who come in after the fact, repeat things they like, and scold people for not listening to them.

The media. Good grief

We might get it worse.....if you believe the Chinese information is true.

And if you do you are the dumbest motherfvcker on here.

If you vote for someone that supports China you are a terrible human being.

We have a Hilton Garden Inn in the French Quarter now handling exclusively homeless and recovering COVID patients, 4 state parks closed to the public and now serving as isolation spots, and the Convention center opening shortly for excess hospital capacity.

Back to work in a couple weeks, y’all. We’ve about got this thing licked!

I don’t wish this plague on anyone, and I’m genuinely concerned for my friend, but I’m hopeful it’s just a •cough• and a “F this stupid virus” for him.

-human nature is to attempt to assign blame when something bad happens. We've always done it, we always will. Access to "real time" info means that we don't have to wait til the problem is over to do so. Said info is usually incomplete and often laced with confirmation bias. When this situation is sorted many will do their own post mortem investigation...most will frame it to fit their preconfigured narrative. Is what it is.

-i believe the reason we do so is because its easier than accepting the fact(s) that the universe is(by nature) hostile to life/bad things happen regardless of our best efforts/control is an illusion.

-go cats?

The 2012 Baylor game was probably the most stress-free tourney game (first round excepted) I can ever remember. We came out and dominated from the start. It wasn't even a question of whether the game would be tight. Just an ***-kicking from start to finish.

Good times, man.

Just think..if Bernie or Biden were in office they would have known this pandemic was coming long ago..even before the mad scientist. Bernie or Biden would have had a stockpile of every supply needed. Right?
Hear Biden’s latest goof? Apparently has been claiming he was a professor who taught classes...not true!

And Biden’s teleprompter goof was great the other day too.

There will be no damn football this year, and I’m afraid that will cause more deaths in SEC Country than the flu. Tmfs.

Gosh I love the whataboutism in politics, good for the country.

Who knows what the response would be from any of these weirdos that The Left keeps trotting out, they aren’t in power. I do know what the response of our president was and initially it was a shrug off of “this is just a flu” and “it’s a conspiracy to get me”, a week later he’s telling people not to congregate in groups of ten or more.

So it was two extra weeks before half the country took it seriously. That doesn’t necessarily put ventilators in hospitals but it gets us ahead of the curve we are on.

Blame is unfair because this thing was coming regardless but it is fair to be critical of the public response from the WH. Would have been ten times better for him just to have said, “not sure how serious it is but definitely something we are monitoring”.

Guess I’m just salty because I have to cancel my spring golf trip, and that I do not forgive.

Why is everything so dumb.

The virus is nobody's "fault." It's not Trump's fault, it's not the media's fault, it's not China's fault (though they did lie about it and try to cover it up, resulting in thousands of deaths and global calamity so maybe it really is China's fault).

And no, it's not a hoax, and no, it's not going to result in 2M American deaths. Good Lord, people. Be smarter.

The reality is that it's here, and we're dealing with it. It sucks, but we'll get through it, like we've gotten through everything else.

Stay positive. With each day that passes, not only are we 24 hours closer to the end of this thing, but we're also 24 hours closer to sweet embrace of death.
