- Found some disinfecting spray!!!

-I'm a Gen X/Millennial. Don't feel much of a connection to the Millennials so I'm repping X. Right on the line according to the google. Anyway, I hate this isolation. Can't imagine how Bonz is taking it, can't have Tigger not able to bounce.

-Day four with no drinks. Convinced myself drying Sunday - Thursday is adequate. [winking]

-No combine for the tweener Draft guys seems like a bad thing. For reals though, getting EJ and IQ back would be just what the doctor ordered.

-Tulip take out last night, meh. Trying to stick with the places we normally support.

So Japan has closed schools, no crowd sporting events and encouraged working from home. Has not closed restaurants or bars. Their case rate is low because they pretty much are not testing. Maybe they are on to something.

I plan on finally beating Legend of Zelda tonight (10-year-old me was a failure), so that's great news for everyone. I was in the final dungeon but one of those GD pancake stacks ate my shield so now I have to go get another one. Please keep me in your thoughts in these difficult times.
I have the NES Classic. My 6 year old and I beat Zelda a few months back and finally got to the last level on Mega Man 2, I gave up on that one.

Those old video games are hard, man.

Mega Man 2 is one of the hardest games ever made. Just making it to the last level is a major accomplishment.

Zelda 2 back in the day broke me. You needed to get to the Great Palace without dying which was hard enough. Then I used a Nintendo Power map book to navigate the palace. After getting to the last boss I was promptly killed, screen of Ganon laughing comes up and promptly sent back to the starting point of the game. I turned it off and never played it again.

Now would be a really good time for some hacker nerd to bust into CBS, download every tournament game, and start streaming them all over the internet.

-Man, there'd be real happiness if games started today, huh? Skipping out of work, cold pilsners flowing, GAMBOL, seeing friends.

-Wish I had our old Nintendo 64. That and Playstation 2. In college the PS2 was my most coveted possession beyond my 1996 Jeep Cherokee (make/model I will own again). When I packed for school or home that thing travelled FIRST CLASS: wrapped in a blanket on top of my laundry basket and in the front passenger seat.

-I haven't played a video game in 10+ years but find the online gaming community to be a fascinating concept to passively observe from a distance. That, and today's graphics/storylines/creativity sometimes make me want to dip my toe back in but pretty sure it's just not feasible. Maybe when the kids get older.

-If they cancel football season then EA Sports should be allowed to bring NCAA Football back if only for one year.

-How much fun does a summer wedding sound right now? I won't be lamenting those social obligations anymore. Open bar, live band, lassies not stressed or angry and in summer dresses. Man.

-Trying to coordinate a firepit night this Friday for my immediate neighbor buddies and me. Seems that would be fine if we keep a little distance? Talking 4-7 guys.

-Staying up later than normal to create a little more downtime. The sweet serenity of both kids asleep in their beds must be savored.

- Maaaaaaan, f*** China. Lying motherf***ers denied then downplayed all this back in September.

- Having a few people over to workout in the garage and have a few beers/grill after.

- First confirmed cases at my hospital. Hooray. Main concern at this point is running out of supplies.

- Looking at firing up the XBox, but I'm going to be miserable at everything. Blah.

- Did find a way to start playing poker on an app...getting back in my groove.

-I dry out every Sunday- Wednesday without a drop.

I’ll make concessions on Sundays in the summer by the pool but I like this balance.

Self discipline. I feel better. Keeps my caloric intake somewhat in check compared to the weekends when I eat what I want and generally overindulge.

- The lass was working in Crestwood yesterday and hit up some random liquor store out there. Brought back several bottles of red and some 6 packs of Gravely Debaser (my favorite brewery in Louisville is now canning).

- All of this sucks in so many ways. Going to get creative this weekend for fun. Get the fire pit going outside and roast some marshmallows with lil lassies with some tunes on. The weather may be chilly but it will be nice to see some sun with blue skies. Lil Lass 1 is a bossy little thing with my tunes choices. I get maybe halfway through a song at best. Knows how to manipulate situations to get what she wants. I give in too easily because she’s my girl and I just want her to be happy.

- I think I’ll listen to the radio broadcast replay of the UK vs UL 2012 Final Four game tonight. Hot damn, what a week that was. Heady times.

Fans can debate 2012 versus 2015 or 2010 all they want. 2012 had that intangible it factor. The bigger the moment, the better they played. Almost like a world class thoroughbred that realized they were being challenged and kicked it into another untouchable gear. Incredibly efficient. Teams wouldn’t dare run with them and if you wanted to slow the game down, good luck. They executed in the half court with precision.

There's a group of guys on Twitch playing old school super mario games (and other retro stuff) that's been modified to make it stupidly hard. I put it on in the background while I'm working. I also like watching world record speed runners. There's all kinds of crazy stuff on Twitch though. It may or may not be your cup of tea in general but with the way things are at the moment you'd be crazy not to at least go check it out.

Matt Jones says he's heard we might go after a grad transfer from Quinnipiac: [eyeroll]

Find out it's this guy:

Good news is with this gorgeous spring weather, I can get the road bike out and log some miles :chairshot:

Also, f*k Punxsutawney Phil. Little bastard hasn't taken enough flack for his garbage prediction.

- Always thought the novelty of working from home would be cool but after 3 days just shoot me in the face. May look into a Regus to get a change of scenery.

- Magnolia tree is in full bloom which would normally mean firing up the patio grill, tunes on, cocktail in hand while looking ahead to our tournament match-up. Now the highlight of that dream is the **** pedals left in the yard. Fitting.

- Watched the Dream Team doc last night. Seen it before but man it takes you back. Was in 8th grade at the time and recall showing up to football practice and hearing about Magic and the hiv. Thought the guy would drop dead before I'd ever get to remove a bra. Amazing seeing that footage and seeing he never lost any muscle mass / size / stamina. Would love to know how the CIA found a treatment just for him.

- Would be down for a GYERO GoldenEye tournament. Turn those machines back on! /M. Duke

Seems with all these NBA players testing positive for it I don't see how more folks haven't connected that the virus is older than the CCP is admitting. Also would mean the bug has been on our shores for a heck of a lot longer than we first thought.

An acquaintance of mine who is well-connected politically in Ohio said he is hearing that DeWine is going to announce a mandatory shelter-in-place at his 2:00 press conference today. The requirement would go into effect tomorrow or Saturday.

This is not confirmed and very second hand, but it comes from a reliable source, so thought I would share. Hope like hell it’s bad info.

If this does come to pass in Ohio, I’d imagine Beshear’s announcement won’t be far behind. So, might not be a bad idea to stock up on foodstuffs, bourbon and nicotine to the extent you haven’t already.

GBB!

Waaaaaaah we only won every F’ing tournament game by 8 points. Waaaaaah.

Go F yourself.

It was an observation based on MKG's block. While a badass play, the fact that play was needed was inexcusable. Especially considering that brand new team already beat Kansas by 10 earlier and had only gotten better.
