Wasn't this do to Eloy? I need to watch this week but I remember Eloy was so awful in that game.

I do respect Crean for running with us but then lost it when he complained about fouls afterward. I mean Davis was in huge foul trouble and they didn't take full advantage.
Yeah, we were way up and rolling and John put Eloy and Wiltjer in the game at the same time and the lead was cut. I was drinking tequila heavily and tweeted that out.

Things just got real here in Western KY.

I am devastated to announce that Tater Day has been cancelled. :(

Yes, it is a huge disappointment, but this too we can weather if we all support each other.

@cat_chaser confirmed. Irish Kevin’s, Sloppy Joes and Dantes have already shuttered and there some of the biggest, most popular bars for tourists and it’s not even mandated yet. The whole town is rumored to be closing down this week. Going to be very weird here.
Appreciate the info. Makes our decision easy.....As if it wasn’t already.

Currently watching the 96 semifinal vs. UMass. Anytime my wife says what are you watching I just respond "The Tournament."

16 year-old BC didn't appreciate Walter McCarty. Dude was all over the boards, great defender, and a prototypical stretch four. What a weapon he was. Probably only the fourth best player on that monster squad as well. Shew.

New study out of the UK shows that if we did nothing, it may kill 2.2 million in the US over the course of the epidemic (until a vaccine 18mo) out.
Sticking with mitigation would still result in 1.1 million deaths. They say it looks like the only answer to really quell it is suppression - sheltering in place like China did for 45 days. But it’s too late for us to do that. We’d have to do it for 12-18 months. It will be somewhere in the middle and it will be awful.

here.

Is Doron the last player we got from Oak Hill Academy? Seems like we used to get a guy from there almost every year.

Jules “Souleymane” Camara from Meridian, Mississippi per Ralph Hacker was an Oak Hill alumnus.

The Jules Camara DUI story where he got in the back of the car and claimed he wasn't driving was great.

That guy would occasionally look like a lottery pick and then suck for long periods of time. Seemed like a good guy, though.

Thanks to Calipari, it is far easier to look back on the Tubby years fondly. There were a lot of good moments and a lot of baffling screw-ups like the Randolph Morris fax incident, etc. Good times, mostly, until the last two years.

Thanks. No one knows what to do or think. Is stuff open? Is it closed? Do we fall under an exemption? Tesla opened its doors this morning falling under an auto exemption. Musk said the fear is greater than the reality and they will keep moving forward. I’ve heard many people say they are going to work until the police say they can’t. And even then what are the police going to do?

This stuff is literally changing by the minute. Will be interesting to see how the day plays out. I expect Kentucky and other areas will follow suit shortly.

My roommate decided to have a little cocaine party last night which made for a great night. Left around 10 when the whole group was taking over each other at about level 10. Went to my friends shop to hangout, came back at 12:30 and obviously they’re still going strong. Went to bed, got up at 8ish and the house was trashed. Made a coffee and cleaned the whole damn place.

Fortunately they were gambling on darts and left $107 lying around so at least I was paid for my suffering.

Having a roommate at 38 years old is very un GYEROMAN, imho.
I hear you but with a 1 bedroom place here costing $2000-2500/month it’s not easy to live by yourself bud. I’ve considered buying but don’t really trust I’ll ever get my money back with the water rising.

I’m not 38 for another week thank you.

RANDOMS:

(1) Very sorry to hear that, '73. Hang in there, bud.

(2) Agree wholeheartedly that it's only a matter of time until anything "nonessential" is shut down in Kentucky. I think we're being eased into it to avoid too much panic.

(3) Starting to wonder if just telling old/high-risk people to hunker down for a few months is the answer here instead of shutting down civilization. Hard to say.

(4) MLB The Show today! Perfect for all the free time created by an apocalyptic societal breakdown.

(5) Most of the way through the "Vick" 30 for 30. That whole dog fighting deal was basically "When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong" writ large.

2 is already happening and I'm assuming you're dead on with how it will transition to 3. We all can't just hide for 3-4 months.

Last Thursday morning we thought the NCAA tournament would be played without fans and it would just be sort of a weird footnote in history. Yesterday night, arguably the most influential city in the world announced it is forcing its citizens to remain in place for three weeks. And you would be a fool to believe that 3 weeks doesn't actually mean 8 weeks or longer.

I can only remember one time in recent U.S. history that a city was forcibly shut down -- after the Boston Marathon bombing when those two dickheads got into a shootout with the police and the police had to go locate the foppy younger brother. And that was over in a few days.

And Brady is leaving the Patriots, too.

2020 can eat a dick.
