Willy has to be the leader in the clubhouse for Poster of the Year, right?

If the Tournament is canceled, the sportswriting heroes of the world won’t be able to complain about their late hours up against deadlines, their per diem, the buffet in the hospitalIty room, the distance of the arena from their hotel room, their Uber driver, the traffic in whatever city they’re covering, young novice journos asking “talk about” questions while wasting their precious time, and UK fans.

They need to ask themselves what they really believe.

New report says if you’re under 50 you have 6-10 times the death rate than just the flu. If you have diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease or breathing problems it’s even worse.
In the most severe cases 41% are from 17-50.
Might wanna peep the story on the iPhone news app.

If The Cleve will not have fans then they have to move it. I bet the Yum would host. I mean BJW will be irate if we are sent there and can't attend. How can the NCAA send teams there at a fan disadvantage? Czabe nailed it today that the people who are legislating no fans at games do not have any skin in the game.

No. Just saying for the most part we will have more fans at any tournament game. You limit fans and that hurts us. And how the hell do you decide who gets in? I mean BJW found many ways to sneak into Georgia Tech after the tornado

My son’s big soccer tournament in Vegas this weekend just got cancelled. That sucks.

And Kyle Tucker is right...tidal wave is coming. No fans for the next few weeks or so.

The “skin in the game” for legislators is human life and game is civil society. They just won’t let anybody in, like they’re doing in Italy. They won’t even need to play in the real venues (and may discourage it to keep fans away) since all they need is a nice basketball court and not one of a dozen professionally coiffed grass fields in Italy.

They should play it at small place that still accommodates the level of camera coverage (without an “empty dome effect” to mess up threes).

Nantz can do it remotely from his backyard tee box and send the tie later.

Speaking of, #EmptyMasters is going to be surreal.

To be fair though it seems this team plays better away/hostile crowds than at home.

No one is going to risk being blamed for not implementing ways to avoid a widespread outbreak. Not politicians, organizations, businesses or schools. The only way we have to contain it is isolation. Good thing none of us lived during WW2 or the greatest generation would call us Snowflakes for shutting everything down and sacrificing for just a couple of months.

How about we let trained and highly educated medical professionals provide informed opinions to respective parties so they can make what they feel are the “right” decisions.

This is already taking place, and the "right" decisions you refer to are debatable in most cases, as evident by expert opinions on both sides of the fence. Being overly cautious doesn't make it "right".

Dan Wolken created an unnecessary firestorm with that column. A basketball player acquiring it and then the subsequent quarantine would be the perfect storm for all of the "I told you so" crowd". That same player could get acquire it at the mall, campus, etc. ....I guess Tua should have come out of the game earlier and he wouldn't have gotten hurt.

Interesting considering LV's 3rd largest expo this week wasn't cancelled. $$ talks.
