Leave Hagans on the bench, it forces fewer **** tier push shot 3's, poor attempts at rim finishes and unintended turnovers in the crunch. Did I mention analytics on him can eat my ***?

And gives Nick, Quick and Ty more touches.

Huge sequence with Auburn missing two bunnies that would have tied it and IQ burying 3 FT's immediately thereafter.

Hagans on the bench in crunch time there speaks volumes - he needs to get out of his head and just play

We won that game because of ASHTON! Sure he went 2-13, but when he has 5 assists you’re not gonna beat us! - Cal

The kid must be all time p-word the way Cal has to constantly defend him in every single postgame. Proud of Cal for taking the ball from him. If we’re gonna do ****, the ball will be in Tyrese’s hand when it counts. Don’t really trust Cal to do that, but today was a step.

* We have a lot of pieces to make a run in the NCAA-T. Defense and FT shooting provide a good foundation. If Hagans can get back to 75% of his early season form, we jump to another level.

* Obviously always happy to win, but just an awful product to watch for 2hrs+. 56 fouls in a CBB game is criminally bad. Almost turns watching these SEC games into a chore.

* 38-38 on the boards after getting decimated @ Auburn. Cal with a subtle adjustment, having Nick hold his block-out and drop a guard to rebound. Hagans, Maxey, and IQ combined for 22 boards.

* Who would’ve thought Pearl would turn Auburn into a year-over-year contender? Always impressed how that sweaty bastard *gushes* about Cal and UK.

* Thought Brooks was the best version of himself today. 12min, 4pts and 3 rebs. Can we please get a little bit out of Sestina and Johnny?

* Can’t believe this is the last week of the regular season. Where the f*ck did this season go? Take care of Tennessee and Florida, win at least a game in SEC-T, and that should be a 2-seed.

* I like my team.

Today was a great day.

This morning I was part of a rescue transport that drove 20 dogs and puppies, most of whom had already been scheduled for euthanasia when they were pulled from high kill shelters in Tennessee, to rescue groups in the Chicago area, where they will be safe until they are adopted. The tide never stems, y’all.
Please, spay and neuter your animals and adopt don’t shop.

Then I got home an hour before game time, got settled in just in time.

I was excited to listen to Rafferty and Eagle but since things didn’t start out so well for us under their watch, I decided that I might be jinxing us since I always listen to Tom Leach.
I switched over to the radio call and the rest is history.

I am happy to have made a difference today for some very sweet dogs and our Cats!

Happy regular season championship, Wildcat friends!

What time did you leave, midnight? That's a hell of a turn around time.

;):)

Rescue transports are done in stages called legs. From Tennessee to Chicago is 6 legs. I was one of 5 drivers who drove leg 2 from Paducah to Mt Vernon IL.

The dogs all reached their final destination just about an hour ago.

If we had beaten that Evansville team (without EJ Montgomomery, in November, with a bunch of 18 year olds who took a night off, which was undeniably stupid) Wouldn't we pretty comfortably be a 1-seed? We'd be 25-4. I get that that was a bad loss, but it drops us 2-3 seed lines by itself?

Cal likes the old cliche that the committee is really punishing the teams you put us with more than they're punishing us. So look at it that way. How would you like to be Dayton or San Diego State and have the kind of season they're having and then you look and see a potential Sweet Sixteen date with a Kentucky team that was ranked #3 preseason, only lost 5 games, and only 2 losses in 2020? "Sorry fellas, they lost a really embarrassing game in November four months ago, so that proves they're light work. Have fun."
