Would love to see Purdue smack IU back into their little hole tonight in Mackey:

Rivalry Update:

-Purdue leads the all time series 121-89
-Purdue has 24 B1G titles to IU's 22

^ I found both of these rather surprising

-Purdue has won 9 of 10, including 3 straight at Assembly. Painter absolutely *owns* IU
-It's been 1466 days since IU beat their biggest rival

-Tucker eluded to this story on his podcast but the gist is, with our PG averaging 4.5+ TOs a game, it's basically impossible for us to make a F4 run.

He's not wrong about Hagan's heart and effort though, kid is tough as nails and leaves it all out there. I haven't seen goofy Hagans in months. His BB IQ is just fairly low. He's also responsible for at least 3-4 TOs per game that his not getting charged with because his passing is so bad.

Cal has been toying with it a bunch but I hope the answer is to stop those turnover runs by moving Quickley or Maxey to lead guard when they start because they come in bunches. Hagans was pretty good 1st half TAMU game after rewatching with George for the 3rd time in 2 days(at least it's not Peppa Pig reruns) and you need him out there b/c Juzang hasn't proven to be the answer.

-Don't care what the stats say, this team's top 5 play some relentless defense.

-I'll take this time to say "F*CK IU.*

-Weird that Cal doesn't get the heat for our stagnant uniforms.

-Hot Pockets are DOPE!!

-My man Monk was finally breaking out until he was targeted and unfairly drug tested. I'm sure it's just weed. #FREEAHMAD

Hagans is older than Kevin Knox, who's in his 2nd year of the NBA, but he has to be treated like a kid playing Upward?

Sleep is the cousin of Death.

I do not pay attention to film reviews or any other reviews.

Kind of like on here, I pay no attention to posters reviews of other posters. I used to skim over movies that had like a 35, 40 or some low ranking from Rotten Tomatoes and the other review sites. Then If I read the plot of the movie and it sounded interesting, I watched regardless. I have a 20 minute rule. if I do not get interested in 20 minutes, the channel gets changed. I could have missed a lot of really good movies by going off what the masses thinks.

Moral of the story : Judge for yourself, be your on guide, not a follow the masses just because everybody else is doing it.

I’d give my left nut to watch UK basketball reruns for children tv viewing time.

Frozen 2 became available for streaming around 3 weeks ago and I’m being honest when I post this, I think I’ve seen it around 15 times or so, not including when I took the oldest lil Lass to the theater.

DADDY, I WANT TO WATCH ELSA!!!!!

FALSE, TOOTS. CHECK OUT THIS MONEY SHOT BY IMMANUEL QUICKLY. HE’S ON FIRE.

And that Final 4 was as flukey as they come. That team was garbage (12 losses & unranked)

Dane Fife
Tom Coverdale
George Leach
AJ Moye
Jared Jeffries

lol

Oh, and Mike Davis.
And they played 6'3 Moye at PF for long stretches. It was ridiculous.

Hagans "plays his guts out" *rolleyes*...when he feels like it. That's the #1 reason I can't stand him. Like he's got ADD or something. Could just be 2 possessions in a row, or an entire elite 8 game, but the 25yo sophomore lacks focus and discipline and it shows up in big time when the lights are bright.

- Cal loves fight from guys- which is probably why he doesn’t get on Hagans too much. That or the kid is fragile, but I don’t see that. If anything, he’s overconfident from my POV.

- Glad to see G is well on his way. His mama’s raising him right.

'I'm reminded to be kind'?

It's one thing (and absolute ********) for Cal to constantly handle Hagans with kid gloves and deflect his ire on more mature teammates who can 'take it'..... but FFS this is approaching ridiculous level proportions...

Just be decent to your subject, ask provocative questions, publish your article, and stay woke. #profit

I don't care if Cal yells at him or hugs him, I just need him to keep it at 3 TOs or less per game. Get 6 or 7 assists, try to limit your missed layups to 1 per game and don't take bad 3's.

I like Hagans. I think we are nearly unbeatable when he is playing his best. We need him. But he can't have a bad game with careless TOs or we will get bounced to someone we shouldn't.

7 of the last 10 games he has had at least 4 TOs. 6 twice. That will get us sent home when it counts. It's the head scratchers that kill me. Throw it right to the guy in front of you or Larry, Curly and Moe a guy who is guarding you right in the eye. He is looking up the court, but he doesn't see what is literally right in front of him. Don't jump with no idea what you are going to do. If you get it in the paint and a teammate isn't wide open, take the shot. Get it on the rim and let Richards and EJ clean up the misses.

John Wall is the only player who has averaged more than the 3.5 TOs per game than Hagans currently is for the season. And Wall played at a pace that had way more possessions so they aren't comparable.

FUN FACT - Indiana basketball has officially been irrelevant for most of our lives. I was 10 the last time they won a title and still in law school the last time they made a Final Four. They are basically Minnesota.

Utah, UNC-Wilmington, Duke, Kent State on the way to the Final Four.

Yeah, thanks for taking down Duke, but that's a ******** fluke run.

As a side note, that game in Rupp between IU and Duke was bonkers. The hatred for Duke was palpable.

It takes a village to raise a child.

Plus, a nanny, a doting mother in law, a sleep technician, a dog walker, another set of in laws to buy a house a few blocks away, private school, tutors, and a pediatric meditation guru.
That actually sounds a lot like your childhood if I'm not mistaken.
