When the “stuck accelerator” thing was going on, I recall reading a story where some expert pointed out that the solution to such an occurrence was simple - just shift to neutral. The engine might blow, but you’ll stop accelerating.

Unfortunately, he went on to suggest, the vast majority of drivers have such little understanding of the way transmissions, and vehicles in general, function, this was not a viable solution to communicate to the public.

Or just press the brake. Ts.

Just drive a Pinto and enjoy the anticipated adrenaline rush. No need for expensive funeral costs with a free cremation. Plus they’ll crush the burned hull into a tidy cube that can be buried easily. Win, Win, Win
Read that as Pitino...

Holds up.

I'd say Cats in a close one decided at the line late... because comfortable wins aren't a thing this season. ESPNU replaying some throwback UK/UF games. Effing Teddy Dupay, man.

Childers/Sturgill was dope. I've never done acid before, but the first part of Sturgill's set was what I assume it feels like. There was no break at all- he went with basically a psychedelic rock show the whole night.

That’s good to hear.
Some early chatter was that half the crowd left midway through, Sturgill is saying he hates playing his new album in interviews, I’m worried he won’t make it to the end of May

Sailor’s Guide is one of my favorite albums ever but I don’t think I could handle that show.

oh yeah he definitely made plenty of anti-industry comments and I wouldnt be surprised at all if all fell apart. But when he and the band played- they went at it pretty hard.

It was the drunkest crowd i've been around for an indoor show. Friday night- lot of those guys I assume were just cashing weekly pay checks before the show. Good number of people left after the Childers set- or just went to listen in the concession areas. But if you go knowing what kind of show its gonna be, and want to have a good time- you will.

Since Sturgill seems to relish playing the role of the contrarian and doing the unexpected, I’m kind of wondering if for his next album he doesn’t drop a traditional country record in the mold of High Top Mountain. Or maybe some Sunday Valley-style jamgrass.

Will be interesting to see what direction he goes.

Sturgill is bordering on becoming the anti-anti-anti musician... whatever that is. I’m a fan but constantly complaining about everything while saying you just don’t care while obviously caring a great deal is gonna elicit eye-rolling at this point.

It seems like no matter what he decides to do he’s gonna complain about it and then blame it on someone else.

Well, based on that article he hates High Top Mountain because it was overproduced.

I didn’t like Sound and Fury at first but I love it. All Said and Done and Last Man Standing are weak but I really like the rest.

The Sturgill nerds have said that he is only doing 5 records and that his next one will be another genre. Who knows.

SiriusXM plays his new stuff on JamOn, which sounds nothing like jam band music to me. Leans more to psychedelic.

We scored a VIP box for the Gorge weekend yesterday. :cool2:

That 2012 team ran and was extremely up tempo. I know that goes without saying because of our personnel but I swear Cal went to an entirely different offensive philosophy after that year. No clue what changed.

That’s fine so long as he doesn’t get upset when people tell him it’s trash. I’m a big Sturgill honk but his little attitude towards his fans lately is pretty obnoxious.

Seems to me that's kinda what he's going for in his stubborn *** way, tbh

Cats only -4.5. Any insider news on our two guys?
