:joy: Yeah- a onesided echo chamber from a bunch of people who have never thought any other way. Common MFers.

Well, this isn’t RepublicanYERO, so F off.

I’ll do this every day for the next 7 months if you want to keep forming the circle.

Your call, Donnie.

November 3rd is going to suck for you.

November 4th is going to suck even more for you when the events of November 3rd are discussed.

I went to Blue Dog Cafe yesterday morning for a meeting and was pleasantly reminded of my forgotten appreciation for the coffee shop babe. I'm old enough now to realize that they're most likely trainwrecks with a completely different idea of fun than me, but sometimes I just miss the chase, I guess. Made me think of my buddy wcc.

Never had too much luck with the hipster girls. I was way too mainstream.

Did ok with hipster girls surprisingly. But stay away from girls with ferrets, that’s just another level of weird.

Hipster girls? You must have hid them pretty well in the never ending stream of blond haired, fake titty bimbos you’ve run thru over the years.

I mean, I tried to get out there and meet different people than from the republican community. They appreciated my realness, I was friendly but did my own thing and was who I was, even if it was different from them. Not like some of these fake flannel wannabes like chad.

What a Poser.

In college I recall reading a story in the Roanoke newspaper about a lonely old man whose multiple ferrets fed on his dead body for several weeks after his passing.

I wear flannel because it gets cold in NKY- hence the “northern” part. My clothing is functional. The only “posing” I do is for Insta selfies with my dog. So - yeah - take that.

The Cats are 3-32 the last two games at home from deep. I knew it was bad, but :joy:. That's seriously unbelievable.

-Was actually thinking about Richards/Blackshear this morning. The guy would obviously be a huge help to us, or anyone for that matter -- but you have to imagine NICK doesn't happen this year if he were here. One of those things...

There is no argument that Richards has been the better player this season though -- lol at that notion preseason.

The Roanoke Times was a daily read for me growing up, the closest daily paper to my podunk town. The ferrets must have been after I had taken my talents to UK.

Re: Trailer

I've been casually looking for a small little used trailer (golf cart, mower, firewood) for like 2 years now - why are those things so damn expensive? Even 20 year old beaten up (which is all I need) pieces of junk are way more than I would have guessed. Can't pull the trigger. :grimace:

Rent from U-Haul the handful of times you would need it. Plus you don't have a beaten up trailer sitting on your property.

If I'm renting a larger piece of equipment from Home Depot (Stump grinder, Tiller, etc) I just rent one of their trailers.

This "Hunters" show on Prime seems intertesting. Will check it out over the weekend.

5 tons crushed gravel, 3 tons pea gravel, 5 cu. yards of mulch being delivered. Working on re-doing a french drain that got clogged and putting out the mulch with the spring flowers.

I dont splurge on much- but a high quality toilet paper and kleenex with the vicks lotion are two things you should always spend the extra $1 on.

The Friday Five bc Childers/Sturgill is tonight- top 5 Tyler Childers songs for me:
Whitehouse Road
Universal Sound
Long Hard Road
House Fire
Nose on the Grindstone

Am on about year 13 with a pair of Clark's Desert boots. Occasional leather polish and they still look pretty good. At this point they are molded to my foot so until they bust at the seems- they are still my go-to casual shoe

Believe there is a evidence of house cats also dining on deceased owners. Bc cats are soulless lunatics with evil running through their blood. A good boy dog will obviously mourn the loss of their owner- because they arent a sadistic hell species like cats.

For you non-soccer balls- the current biggest name taking over the sport is a kid named Erling Haaland. He's 19, just joined a top club in Germany and has 11 goals in 7 games. He's Austrian, but he's the most German looking individual on the entire planet. He could be cast right into a WWII movie

Books finished in 2020:
Malcolm Galdwell- Talking to Strangers
Grisham- Rooster Bar
Ben Macintyre- The Spy and the Traitor

Searching for another title for an upcoming overseas visit...

I got mine for $200, probably exactly what you need.

I think anything bigger is now taxed/tagged like cars so that makes them a little more valuable as they aren’t treated the same.

That or I’m waiting on the bank to pay the taxes, you decide.

In the news of "I'm turning into my parents"...I have podcasts, Apple music, my downloaded music, etc. all at the tip of my fingers in that little magical handheld computer that goes everywhere with me and I still listen to the local morning radio when I am taking the kids to school. No other time do I do this, and it's objectively terrible but there is something about the comfort of it...it's what we listened to going to school 30 years ago, obituaries, local crime reports (mostly low level nonsense), goofy laughter and jokes from some all too chipper DJ and the occasional terrible country song.

Plus, it really annoys my teenager and sometimes as parents we have to do that just to check em.

I think the Bengals reputation for “ruining QBs” is unfair and based on their general reputation for not really trying to win a Super Bowl- which is deserved. But you can say the same thing about most any team that’s drafting #1 and in fact the last QBs the Bengals drafted high (Carson Palmer and Andy Dalton) had successful seasons and playoff appearances while with the Bengals.

Just lazy NFL takes if you ask me.

I don't recall the pundits suggesting that Baker Mayfield or any of the Browns' other first round QB picks (Manziell, Quinn, Weeden - the list goes on) should use their "leverage" to hold out and play somewhere else. Yet that franchise has never been to a Super Bowl and last made the playoffs in 2002 (!).

What gives?

Bengals homers coming out of the woodwork. Everybody knows that franchise is a train wreck. There are no redeeming qualities. Burrow needs to pull an Eli or his career will be ruined.

I’ll let you all take a peek behind the curtain a little bit on the Max Powerrr content creating method, but my “who dey!” posts are dripping in sarcasm, usually as a way of saying “boy things aren’t going well with UK guess I’ll turn my attention to the Bengals oh wait they’re awful too” so I don’t think I’m a Bengals homer. Just an abused fan who keeps going back for more in the hopes they hire Mark Stoops.

Anyway who does everyone like for president this year?

- Put on Space Jam for C for the first time a couple weekends ago. Guy is fully obsessed with the game and wants all things basketball now, shooting on his indoor goal or shooting outside when weather allows pretty much all the time.

- Last game of his first season tomorrow, team season-ending banquet at Malibu Jack's next week. Times have changed from going to the coach's house or a garbage, cheap pizza joint like we did growing up.

- With the three bigs all proposing changes to be more interesting, the mid-season tournament with only Elam Endings thrown out by the NBA intrigues me the most. They just know their audience and product, man.

- Baseball can do whatever it wants to the playoffs, it's too far behind and will never catch up again. Shame because it's honestly my favorite sport to attend in person, not many things better than taking in a summer's eve game with my pops with a collide in hand.

- NFL playoff expansion . . . whatever. Still a Bear fan, but it gets harder to care as much every year.

- Napa with the lass and three other couples in two weeks, fell into a free AirBnB through a friend. Been doing a dry February run leading up to it. Ish.

- I'll echo I still know we can get #9 but just have a hard time getting fully invested in this team as of yet. Being in floor seats for Evansville as the last game I've seen in person left a solid scar and probably isn't helping, what a touching terrible humble brag to have.

- It's been said tongue-in-cheek for a while, but I'm going all in on it as a serious statement now: We're a football school (too). What a feeling.

- Bought our tickets this morning for Bruce Hornsby at The Opera House in June. Pretty sure I've said before he's my single favorite musician, and it's really not even close.

- Between The 'Bee on Richmond Road and now O'Chuck's on Nich., my college and early post-college happy hour watering holes are gone. Lot of ice cold, frosty, cheap domestos consumed between those two places. Sad.

- Wilder-Fury is giving off those vibes of when my dad got me into boxing in the 80's.

- With Anth on Smoothie King's fake "healthiness." That's why I don't even fool myself when I go there, give me the Hulk in the largest size.

-If you can't understand why a #1 pick QB would want to avoid the Bengals... you're a MAJOR homer. About 15 reasons starting with living in Cincinnati, the have been ****** for 30 years, ownership is notoriously incompetent and it's a small market. In short, it sucks. All of it. I realize you were being sarcastic but never a bad time to **** on the Bengals.

-Still reading but not as quickly as I do over summer. A lot more content to browse before I pick up the book at bed time. Currently on A Short History of Nearly Everything.

-Clark needs to use some type of bullet points. Great randoms, poor formatting.

-Quickley and Richards battling it out for SECPOY. Good start to the "why we're good" argument.

1st Team ALL SEC:
I. Quickley
B. Tyree
M. Jones
N. Richards
R. Perry

2nd Team:
A. Edwards
A. Wiley
S. Mayes
K. Lewis
I. Okoro

POY: N. Richards
Newcomer: I. Okoro

-Need big game Rupp tomorrow and I'm expecting that type of performance. The obvious answer to our home struggles is randomness and it comes to an end.

Okoro is the lotto pick, but Doughty should be clearly ahead of him for awards.

Lucky for them both, there are 29 people on the ALL SEC teams.

-That's two years in a row Pearl has had a guy enter the lotto discussion seemingly out of nowhere.
