They should make the dunk contest like HORSE. If you make it - the other guy has to as well.

No other player makes that dunk without killing Tacko, let alone get a little Tom Chambers boost.

Monday Randoms:

*Steak & Bourbon snackdown:
Crabmeat Deviled eggs: Fantastic
Old Fashion: Decent
Ribeye Oscar style w/side car of horse radish creme. One of the best I've had.
Wife got the Short rib pot roast. Also excellent.

*Finished season 2 of Narcos: Mexico.
Not as good as last season, but well worth the watch. Love watching anything about that stuff.

*Finishing up the Malcolm X Netflix documentary about his assassination. Actually better than I would have expected. Crazy to think police may have arrested black folks they shouldn't have.

*Democratic primary getting ugly. Lots of shots taken yesterday at billionaire Jewish half midg.

*Roosters last night. Traditional BONE-IN wings with Nuclear sass. Always good.

*MF'ers dontd know how to drive out here. Blocking the road means nothing if you have to go Gene Snyder, apparently.

*Kroger(s) yesterday. The talent there was amazing. Better than Target.

*Grilling tonight. Weather is too nice not to.

-Willie Nelson at the amphitheater tonight sold out and Judy Collins at the theatre sold out. GYERO favorite The Mummies last night at the Sunset Lawn and world renowned guitarist Tommy Emmanuel last night. Lots of good music options in town right now.

-Without PSVue any more and haven’t picked up any new source of cable has been kind of nice. A pain for sporting events but random days like today it made me get outta the house, go to the pool and put some time in on Goldfinch instead of sitting around watching sports center.

So Joey Ruption...what great Mickie stories an you share with us?
None. I just had 30 minutes to fill from the sports section, so I always ended up reading about the Women’s b-ball and boring quotes from “Coach Mickie DeMoss.”

- There was something wrong my with certified pre-owned KIA Sorento (engine+transmission?). It was a thing that caused them to burst into flames a lot, IIRC. Anyway, I was only driving enough to get service every six months and at one point they were like “holy **** this things about to explode!” So they gave me a Forte loaner and rebuild the engine and transmission for like 8k on the factory’s dime. But, hey, that’s just life in the big city of KIA CPO life.

Grilling tonight as well. A little taste of Spring on this February day which means we will pay for it soon enough. Go ahead and start looking for mudders (again) for Derby.

You telling me your Kia broke down? Holy moly, what is this world coming to??
Not a car guy, huh?

It didn’t breakdown. I took it in for an oil change (duration not mileage) and they did some preventative maintenance. It was fine before and after.

John Forte, grab the mic, let's sway this way
I'm more than just a rhymer, you still a small timer
Hoping that the game treat that *** a little kinder
Every step tango'd
Your beef don't concern me
I'm eating mangoes in trinidad with attorneys
My crew's slang flow worldwide like a current
With the every spot where nobody got insurance
Brother, do the math you ain't half near exotic
My man's claim true you forget about it
Po-po just a nuisance, like my influence
Well, recognize you a lie trying do it
Got juice told your lady oops
We nuts baby
Smooth and charismatic, automatic
You gonna save me
God bless the day that my sons survive
We strive to teach the youth, baby, and stay alive

^ I have to recite that in my head everything I see or am referred to a Kia Forte

Well, that was wild.

NASCAR should be OT only, that was fun.

Definitely a little weird with the celebration and lack of coverage on Newman.

That may have ended NASCAR for good. Just a bad look with a guy doing donuts in the infield when a guy could be dead 500 yards away.

Then shooting off confetti 5 minutes later with dude still in the car and things looking more serious by the moment.

Whole thing was bizarre, including the commercial cutaway. And now there is no post race coverage anywhere lol.

Not good. TBoned in the drivers window at 200mph while upside. Assuming the black horse tracks screens aren't promising either. Damn.

I mean there is no way Hamlin knew what happened right? No way he does that with a fellow driver is possibly dead or seriously injury?

Said in the NASCAR thread the winner celebrated after Dale died.

Not a fan of it. They have radios and yeah, you won but you would be a hell of a lot cooler of you stopped your **** to check on your boy.

That wall hit was bad but the flip and direct hit after was :(.

Waltrip was celebrating thinking Dale was ok
As soon as he heard Earnhardt was seriously injured the celebration stopped.

They are in and see wrecks but they put deaths out of mind.

Hamlin’s celebrations calmed down soon as it was known Newman wasn’t ok. They were pretty quiet as tv coverage was ending

Cool individual moment for Prince but not a special
occurrence in Kentucky Basketball lore, IMO.

That UNC team was hot garbage and I LOATHED Team Turmoil with a burning passion.

:joy::joy::joy:

This is Davis=Henson all time bad take. Sorry Rich, you are dead wrong. I still get chills.

There are certainly much more expensive unwanted "Life" purchases, but for some reason none of them anger me more than new touching tires. :uzi:

Yeah, imagine if you owned a Porsche.
