-i have lots of friends/acquaintances on the left...from traditional ky dems to bernie bros and a few honest to God commies. Some of my nazi* friends and acquaintances (*Republicans, amiritelol) think im a lefty because i support "the alphabet folks", am a conservationist and wear properly fitted clothing. Right or wrong i tend to avoid most political talk and concentrate on what we have in common. If someone is smart/interesting/funny i like spending time with them.

-as far as public situations...the folks bleating political talking points loudly at a restaurant/ function/party are *wanting* to be noticed and are to be pitied. Poor souls.

I agree with Matt Jones about one thing, whether R or D, I would welcome a boring president.

This reality TV show that we have going on at our top levels of government is absurd. Something tells me it’s only getting crazier though, I think the general populace views national and state politics as a form of entertainment rather than something with real consequences.

Firmly convinced that this country (maybe Western civilization in general) is in the “bread and circuses” phase of things. We’re bloated and decadent and a shadow of what we once were. Everyone is just trying to get theirs before it all collapses.

Those who think coaches 30 years ago didn't have an effect on the game dont remember Joe B. not letting his guards shoot or Eddie Sutton implementing his "3 passes before shooting" rule.

-Both are true. Coaches are over bearing ego maniacs and 95% attempt to equalize talent by playing Pitino ball and flopping. Also, any decent talent leaves college at the hint of the first available opportunity.

-Rack TSK.

-People have different opinions and that's the great thing about us. If you're bothered enough to interrupt a stranger's dinner then it's a bad idea and you're the problem.

The proliferation of breweries/bourbon boom and the growth of pro/college sports with the public footing the bill for stadiums seem to support this idea.

oh well, WHO DEY!

Totally agree. Maybe even push it to 7 or 8 fouls. Whatever it takes to condone and support even MORE fouling, I’m for.

#ilovethisgame

Not saying I condone it but if they refuse to make refs quit calling 60-70 per game they need to do something to keep good players on the floor.

We had that with Obama and what did it get us?

Either way, uninvited political discussion is always welcome between complete strangers.

If you were listening to a Card fan rant untruths about UK, you would probably intervene and set the record straight. Same scenario, however, "the left" is probably a tad more ignorant. Doc was probably just saving them from drowning in their bassackward beliefs.

Doing ANYTHING in public alone is great tbh. Not having to talk or listen to someone else is borderline thrilling at this point.
Hot Take: Sometimes it's better to take a random *** Wednesday off rather than try to stack for a 3/4 day weekend. Having the whole town to yourself while everyone is at work is a treat

Actually, no, I would not do that and have not done that, as I’m not a complete psycho and my entire self worth is not tied up in hating Louisville.

-as a young person maybe. As an adult: only crazy people and attention whores argue with strangers. One will not change any minds...simply practacing immaturity and self indulgence. It's faux "tough guy" bs.
This seems completely out of character for UKO. May want to rethink this take Rudd.

Sprinkles.

Truth be told she’s only 9 years younger.

Guess we all have things that grind our gears. What’s important is that we deal with them in mature adult fashion now.

On my way for some relaxation, no warnings or apologies will be given. Woosaaaaa.
