I've been known to disappoint people.
Hated the freaking 'false positive' warmth that was around here for about 2 weeks --- but don't like the endless 'whiney *** / non-committed to WINTER" mess that you're referring to either......Winter should just TRANSFER it's cheap *** out of here along with Kahille Whitey.....hell-fire it's be emacipation by division -- I DO know that much

Found Ravens Run here south on Tates Creek and started breaking the exercise drought with a good 2 1/2 hour whatever back there.....

- Why is it a national story that a high school isn’t letting a kid graduate because he has long dreds? Can’t the Wakawana County Register handle this one? It’s almost as if the media is trying to divide us.

- Babyface was perhaps the most underrated performing artist of the ‘90s. And no need to come after me, Gary Allan fans- just my opinion.
- Old Navy of all places has a pretty solid line of athletic gym wear. And AT REASONABLE PRICES.
- Report from a couple beers with my dad last night:
* Biggest concern today is those damn refs down there in Texas, and then a rolleyes about Montgomery.
* Reds will near certainly win the pennant.
* Even Mike Brown can’t F up this Burrow pick.
* Mom’s oldest sister is still a pain in the ***.
* My work bench down in the basement needs to be more organized. Can’t even find those wrenches he bought me at the estate sale last year. It’s ridiculous.

I went with a 300ZX. So many options to upgrade, tons of aftermarket parts and a big enough network of enthusiasts that getting used parts or support is easy.
And, it's stupid fast and a blast to drive.

It's not on the surface; agree there. Tubby also sought his next option on UK's dime during the season. That's where I'm seeing hypocrisy with him.
Actually it’s worse. Every kid Tubby had recruited and had gotten a commitment to come and play for him had the rug pulled out from under them when he left. They were stuck like it or not with their decisions while he was free to go con someone else out of millions of dollars to sink their ship. Him quitting negatively effected at minimum one or two guys each time he did it. Whitney leaving effects no one negatively except maybe himself.
Whitney stinks, knows he stinks, and knows he isn’t likely to be good enough to get himself drafted by playing here. So he leaves. Boo f*cking hoo. He wasn’t paid to play here, he has no obligation to stay here and rot on the bench when he has a very limited window to prove he should be paid to play basketball.
Whether leaving was a good idea for him personally is up for debate, but coaches claiming moral superiority about quitting (leaving for a better opportunity) when they themselves quit (leave for a better opportunity) all the damn time is ******** I’m not willing to listen to or accept. Coaches who hop from job to job making millions, sometimes tens of millions of dollars per year criticizing students for transferring can go F themselves really hard.

-ate at renata's last night with a a group of 9 couple of bday celebrations. A solid b-. Buddy's wife picked up the tab...so that enhanced the experience.
-cci at midnight is *completely* different as a teetotaler. Not bad, just different. There was clogging and some sort of pb&j shot.
-early bball game was difficult on 5 hrs sleep.

Gameday discussing the the KU fight in Allen Fieldhouse to the cheers and jeers of the crowd is ridiculous.
Bill Self on Gameday perfectly playing the martyr role, while the media is swooning about how beautifully he’s managed this unfortunate situation.

Am I the only one who doesn't really have a problem with Self's position here? I'm guessing Cal would do the exact same thing, and we'd all applaud him for it.

Let me tell you, no other coach in America (at any level) would get the kid glove treatment like Bill Self gets. Not from the media. Not from a governing body. And definitely not from their administration. Many coaches would be subject to discipline or termination at this point. Instead, he’s celebrated as martyr, as someone previously stated.
KU’s perception should be one of a rogue program with no self-restraint or discipline - a rudderless ship, if you will - but it is somehow spun into “doing what’s right by the sport and history of this great program.”

It works for him and so he charms his way into excusing the actions of Snoop Dogg (while simultaneously throwing his athletic department/admins under the bus) and Silvio De Sousa (a great human being, apparently) as people cheer him on.

I was fully expecting Self to come out and call him a Jive *** turkey and continue to **** on his reputation.
He’s playing his role perfectly. But as I said in previous post, no other coach in America at any level (save Coach K, obvs) would get the slack he’s given. . . especially by their administration. He totally threw them under the bus in that segment as he explained the “Midnight Madness” situation/perception of the program . . . because he knows he can.

Miami needs to be careful not to overlook North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Feels like they're not taking this one seriously. Might even be looking ahead to their matchup next week with Virginia Tech.

502 is solid - and they typically have the volume up for all UK and UofL games. Not as packed as Drake's, but people complain about it being more expensive than Drakes. Fights happen in sports. I believe the suspensions were fair. No one was injured.
It’s the cumulative effect of Self’s shenanigans that I find disturbing. It’s drama every year there.
Parking lot at O'Charlies here in BG was on some First 48 **** last night. Two dudes get into a heated argument inside the restaurant, decide to take it outside. A fight ensues then shots rang out. In the end, 9 shots fired, a 21 year old laid dead in the parking lot, and a 41 year transported to The Medical Center for gunshot wounds. (typing that in my best First 48 narrator voice) Of course the gunman is still at large, BUT the janky PD and Media here told us it was not a random act of violence and the public is safe. Of course we are, a casual night at O'Charlies having dinner and gunshots break out, nothing to worry about. Dude probably got mad cause the guy got his rolls before he did.
I drove by minutes after it happen. Of course I had to see what all the fuss was about. They where covering the deceased victim as I got there. Blood freaking everywhere. It was right in front of the main entrance, bullet holes in the dudes car, broken glass everywhere. Pretty scary sight when you get that close to a active crime scene. I bet there was 30 cop cars from various departments there.

It was right in front of the main entrance, bullet holes in the dudes car, broken glass everywhere. Pretty scary sight when you get that close to a active crime scene. Well if you would have taken the time to read instead of jumping to quick to try and be a smart *** and look cool, I stated I DROVE by right after it happened. Meaning I was not eating there, I drove by there. It is on Scottsville Road at the busiest intersection, hard not to drive by it, I do not patron O'Charleys. But IF I did, there are far worse places. I have had a many beers there during Happy Hour though. 2 for 1 is not a bad little deal. But I am sure the Hipster places are more your style. LOL, too good for O'Charleys that is worse than eating there IMO.
