@WynnDuffy - have a funny Newberry story for you one of these days.

Go on...

Sadly, I know what a VSCO girl is and it’s awful.

[Wrong]

Don’t go to sleep on Cognac, Armagnac & Brandy... I went to a tasting and that stuff was high proof, delicate, and complex.

I had a 23 year old L'Encantada store pick that was awesome. Would have been great with a nice steak. Weird combo of bourbon with a red wine finish.

[cole854]

Didn’t even realize Jaguar still made cars.

They even put AC and power windows on them.

Go on...

Sadly, I know what a VSCO girl is and it’s awful.

My wife and two of her friends went there a few years back right after the election to drink wine. They were there like an hour and a half just sitting at a table talking about the silly **** women discuss, as well as the election. Her one friend, who kind of sounds like a bit of a valley girl, voted for Trump and I guess they were talking about that.

All of a sudden, Peter comes over and tells them they were cut off and have to leave, grabbing the wine glass out of her friend’s hand, splattering wine on her.

My wife was mortified and they had no clue why it happened. They’re not a rude or rowdy bunch.

Anyway, turns our the guy is a nutjob liberal who posts Trump conspiracy theories on Facebook every day. I guess he heard Claire talking about voting for Trump and said not in my bar. :joy:

Wife refuses to go back, but I still do every now and again to her chagrin.

[krazykats]

Venmo closed my acct, which I disputed and confirmed it would stay closed.

I proceeded to set the wife up with Venmo and they denied her for having the same bank account.

I don’t know what I did different than anyone else I could see transactions for, but that caused a different level of pissed off.

Did they hear you talking about Trump?

[justa]

Does Venmo allow milk purchases? TIA

[cricket3]

krazy, everyone here can make an educated guess as to why your Venmo account was shut down.

[krazykats]

Shoot your shot hoss. I played by the rules and I’ve seen others transactions as well that are no different than anything I ever sent.

[cricket3]

Business transactions and/or the sale of liquor.

[wcc31]

What? For how long?

Don’t know. I was there Wednesday for dinner and had a pour of Lot B. Was delicious.

[wcc31]

Please don’t share with any of those bourbon nerd Facebook groups.

People in your house know.

[krazykats]

Business transactions, but that was before I sold a bottle on secondary, nor had I at that point collected funds for putting bottles up for raffles/poker.

May that point I had sent people $10-50 for poker buy ins using a turtle emoji only, and I had paid rent twice using a house emoji only.

During my review I asked the case manager if there was a specific transaction they were having issue with and was told no.

The sale of liquor never came up, which is what bothered me the most.

[rudd1]

-its a slang term for a type attractive basic white girl. Oversize shirts/shell necklace/hydro flask. Iirc. Often pejorative in nature.

-these last two posts have shown that i *really* need to shoot/eat something soon.

1987

[legalbeagle123]

1987 gave us Predator AND ALSO The Running Man.

[Kooky Kats_anon]

Gundy’s mullet is outstanding...that & Kates!

[BernieSadori]

*IU is awful and most of their fans can't see it. The supposedly proud program remaking the shot that beat the team that later beat them in the NCAA tournament. Sad.

Maybe UK will do the Cedrick Jenkins or Jeff Brassow last second tips for a month's worth of chicken. WOiuLD be great!

*Haven't been out to watch UK in a good while. @WayneDougan what's the game atmosphere at 502?

*Chili is always better at home unless you cannot cook for ****. One of the easier items to make.

*Wife was about 2 minutes ahead of the place where the truck fell off the overpass.

Between that and a body on fire, it's been a couple of interesting days in the area.

*No Venmo for me. Haven't had one time where I've needed it. Just old, I guess.

*Goint to take a chance and see the Matthew McConaughey flick tonight. Love gangster movies... normally.

*Cant believe it was just yesterday I started watching "Life's to Short." Midgets and all.

*Love Pacific time for sports.

[PTI Anon1640710541]

Oh, I totally understand why someone wouldn't do Venmo. It's a lot of work, constantly updating your profile, managing your business plan, coordinating your banking transactions, auditing your tax returns, pairing your various devices, developing a marketing strategy, setting up a treasury management system.....

....shew wee. Lotta work to do all that.

[BBdK]

Bye Khalil

Called that **** last game - Brooks & Johnny ended any hopes he had.

What a p-word.

What a dumb time to leave. He can still drop his classes here but then what? Sit out of college for an entire semester to work on his game?

[PTI Anon1640710541]

:joy:

Good luck, chump.

Maybe the baskets are bigger outside of Lexington?

EXIT THE DRAGON

[BristolCat_rivals158386]

The IU stunt would actually be a pretty cool halftime challenge if it wasn't for their weird obsession with that game. It's all just too much. Someone should tell them they have 5 titles.

If we had a halftime contest where fans had to hit the 5 Tayshaun threes in under a minute or something that would be cool. But we don't have a weird obsession with the Tayshaun threes that's tied to 3 decades of mediocrity either.

[Geese Feeder]

Whitney isn't entering the portal. Come on. Might make a dumb decision to go pro but he isn't transferring.

Search feature is very easy, indeed.

[Ribsandwhitebread]

It doesnt hurt so much in terms of production, but I guess we still needed him as a warm body on this roster that is already too short

[BBdK]

He seems like a good kid, but that's just ***** - sorry not sorry.

Should help us - basically guarantees Brooks will get more minutes -- and he's shown lately he's rather productive when he gets extended run - same for Juzang, to a lesser extent. We don't need 4 power forwards.

Go Cats!
