Also heard that Andre Riddick once uttered the sentence, "A ho is a ho is a ho," in a women's studies class which - whether he actually said it or not - also seems pretty true.

<---- Absolutely worshiped Penny back in the day.

Oh, and someone once told me "The days are long, but the years are short," with respect to raising kids, and it's the truest thing I've ever been told.
Second truest.

“No matter how much you squirm, no matter how much you dance, the last two drops wind up in your pants” is the truest thing ever said.

I'd love to see Zion stay healthy and do things never seen before. Enjoyed watching him even as a Duke player. I expect his career to go about like Greg Oden's did though.

Home today with a sick 3 year old. That definitely makes for a long day.

Rivals re-rankings coming out. Several UK signees dropped, least shocking outcome ever.

Memphis as a city is highly overrated. As a college program they are rated correctly, which means they rarely cross my mind.

Too early prediction for UK FB 2020, 10-2 regular season, winning the East

UNC is hot, wet garbage this year, I love it

Jarren Williams is back. in. the. portal.

Can you actually get a degree from the portal now?
It's crazy to say, but I can't think of another athlete who more obviously made the wrong choice between two programs. Imagine Kentucky football being the obviously right choice in retrospect. Look at us.

He comes here, there's no question he has something at least in the same neighborhood or better than what Terry Wilson has done. Throwing behind that crazy offensive line, handing off to the stable of backs we've had and throwing balls to Ahmad Wagner and Lynn Bowden... Kid could've been a legend. Now he just looks like a headcase who just got recruited over and has to start from scratch somewhere.

"I treat a Queen like a Queen, and a Ho like a Ho." Boosie Bad *** said it best. he also said :

"Take a loss, shake it off and water whip the Coke.
No shoo-shooin', to your face, I'll let you know."

"I'm beatin' your *** no exceptions.
Uncle told me fight em', you can't beat em' go and get your weapon.
My homies died I stood up like a man.
Do what you did to them, put that on Pimp, I don't be playin'
Bossed up every time something hit the fan."

If everyone just did like Boosie and lived by the whole code up in the street we would not have the **** we have today.

"Like A Man" is one of them junts that gets better with time. Love me some Boosie Bad ***. Wonder if he and PTI kick it in Nawlins.

- I was talking to a woman last Saturday who hates wind chimes with a visceral passion. She said she wants to go up on her neighbor’s porch and rip a bunch down. I’d never met an anti-wind chime person before. This conversation occurred at a VFW on the west side of Newport.

- Any recommendations for a good mezcal? I don’t know anything about it, but I like it. Thinking of mixing up some mad dog margaritas on Saturday afternoon for this showdown in Lubbock.

- Found a lonely fifth of Weller Antique sitting on a shelf in Bellevue at regular retail today. Don’t see that often. Beats the $75 or whatever that ********** Newberry charges for it.

- Also saw the first bock beer of the season. First official harbinger of spring. A six pack of that went out the door no questions asked.

- My four year old now insists on waking up with me at 5:30 on weekdays in order to watch old GI Joe cartoons that air on this random cable channel from 5:30-6:30. I forgot how great that show was. Very well written. Cobra was a *****. Also, the political incorrectness is wonderful. The token hot blonde commando chick is named “Covergirl.”

- My seven year old got in trouble at school yesterday for giving double L’s down and yelling “Louisville Loser” at another student who apparently had the nerve to wear UL gear on a Campbell County playground. Had a stern talk with him about respectful behavior, but also gave him a knowing nod.

- Speaking of Louisville losers, are there even any chili parlors in Louisville? Where do those people go for lunch? Do they just eat fish sandwiches every day?

Wind chimes are garbage. Was way out in front of that.

Karem Deebs (Morris’s Deli) is our quintessential lunch spot in Louisville. How they take normal store bought bread and cold cuts and turn them into the best sandwiches I have ever had is sort of a mystery, but perhaps it’s just the atmosphere. Roast Beef and cheddar on rye for this guy. Option two is the country ham sandwich.

- New whip. Loving it, usually have reasons to get DoorDash...looking for reasons to take the car out. Actually got a better one than the one of FB.

- Denver is a great city, love the job and coworkers. Love going out here. Only drawback, not the friendliest city. Hipsters, pot heads, all too cool for school. Even after living in the Highlands for a few months, too many irrationally judgmental faces when you order a Miller Lite at the bar and aren't toking a weed pen at Target at noon on a Wednesday.

- Chicks tho. Shew.

- You can get crazy good deals on bourbon/rye here. None of the store owners know ****. Nor the customers apparently. Have "lucked out" on several bottles below retail that had been sitting around a while, according to them.

- Black Hawk casinos are dope. Just non smoking. Dafuq? As a smoker, I do like that bars don't allow smoking indoors anymore...but strip clubs and casinos should be exempt every time.

- Mountain Time is kind of wack. Thought I'd enjoy it, but Central is probably the best.

- Cigs are more expensive than weed.

- Free beer to the students in Lubbock before the game? Damn. Lived a bit north of Lubbock in Amarillo for 10 months...nothing else to do that far west in Texas. Going to be bonkers. Literally NOTHING around for 5+ hours.

- SirWilliam Fraser is the former Gyero participant that needs to get back at it. Even tried to message him when I was in KY and never got back. WTF? Does lurking even work?

- NW50 and Richie had some battles back in the day.

- 3 seed.

Chris’s brother-in-law is a mezcal aficionado. Hosted a tasting last year. Can’t recall names but agree that it’s tremendous.

- Damn, gentlemen- nice twin sets of randoms to start this Friday. Just the right amount of interesting content, pace and ****-stirring. Kudos.

- ... which reminds me, I hate men who refer to or address other men as gentlemen, or worse- “gents.” F off.

- Cats - for all the ******** - have shown up for every big game. It’s nut check time.

- I mean- Brandon Boston. Ooooh boy. Kid’s going to be fun. :scream:

- Boyz-II-Men radio for dogdad today. Where did the R&B go????

- Keep this in GYERO, but Pompilios with $8 Rip 10 Year and $10 Lot B pours right now. :eyes:

- Bourbon 3 Home Sippers for Me Right Now:
1. Kentucky Spirit Party Source Pick
2. Woodford Double Double Oaked
3. Stagg Jr. 132.3 proof

- Fine with the Kansas-K State suspension lengths. Would appreciate a good expose’ listing all of KU’s numerous transgressions under Self. It’s ridiculous how teflon that dude is. Does anyone have a theory on why the media doesn’t hit him hard? :grimace:

- At this point, if you don’t have Venmo, you’re kind of a dick.

- Pro- windchime. Also pro-birdhouse, fwiw.

- Had Skyline yesterday for lunch and paid the rest of the day.

- Well boys, we’re about through January- and February is just a bridge to March. :sunglasses:

- WTF is a VSCO girl?

- A co-worker got me a UK back scratcher for Christmas and I’ll be damned if it’s not one of the best gifts I received this year.

- Shocked to be saying this but I’m actually optimistic to pumped, not quite stoked, for the Reds, Bengals and UK football at this time.

-Windchimes are one of the most annoying sounds in life. My mom loves them and has always had a couple. I despise them with the utmost disdain.

-Bushmills Black & Jameson Black Barrel on the Irish. Haven't tried any domestic single malts.
