Get back to me when your engagement party was *during* the 2010 West Virginia game. K?

A night that will live in infamy in the Clown’s house.

I won’t go back over the details, but my wife, her three best friends, and eventually, MY oldest friend, all took cabs to get away from me.

All of them eventually spoke to me again, but to this day, I have not (and WILL not) apologize for my actions that night.

No reason to apologize. I stormed out of my parents' house after screaming multiple profanities with about 2 minutes left in the game. Wife left behind.

Can’t ever go back to a certain sports bar for screaming obscenities and “go ahead and shoot another f@$king 3.”
Started getting redass before the under 4 minute mark and the police told me to leave with under a minute left saying I was drunk and disorderly.
Wasn’t drinking or drunk but definitely disorderly and pissed off! Haven’t talked to my good friend that owns the sports bar about it since even though we still fish often.

MSU is about the worst place for Leach's system...but he's the most entertaining coach in the country. Would love to hear him on Finebaum on the regular trading barbs with Kiffin, on top of his usual incredible commentary on pretty much everything in life.

Leach’s system was innovative and cool 10-15 years ago. Now, it’s nothing all that special, IMO. Good enough to be respectable but he’ll never have a legit team.
What is legit IYO?

All he did last year was have a team one spot ahead of us in the final rankings.

How did your wife’s tag a long friend handle it?

An inebriated Mike Leach once became agitated and voiced his displeasure at a much younger me for not immediately drinking with him at a boxing pay per view.

I think he’d do really well nearly anywhere he went. He’d get his doors blown off in some SEC games (I mean, it’s MSU) but he’d also give coaches across the conference fits. He’d be a heckuva hire for MSU... especially this late in the coaching calendar.

Leach is now so overrated that he’s underrated. He’s won in Lubbock and Pullman for chrissakes.
Let’s see how he does against legitimate defenses. The Pac 12 and Big 12 are a joke defensively.

I just noticed this thread has a mind-boggling (to me, at least) 9,885,293 views. There have been approximately 1,710 days (IF my math is correct) since this iteration of GYERO began in early May 2015 -- which translates to an impressive 5,700 views per day.

Congrats, I guess?

Has no one ever considered this connection significant enough to start A NEW ******* THREAD?

I mean, it directly coincides with our downturn under Cal. Supposedly a thread mostly about UK sports and its genesis is a Monday after Derby.

Don't want to hurt any feelings, but good ******* grief. Record the number of posts and views and inscribe them on a participation trophy on a shelf in the GYERO HOF, or whatever. But move on. Fresh start.
