What an odd terrible preconference schedule glad its over. Games every 3-4 days here on out. Lets go.
UK really needs to address that. I honestly forgot we had a game today until I checked the schedule on the fridge this morning. This scheduling makes it harder to connect with the team.
Some of it is that the season starts too damn early and for tv purposes the schedule is frontloaded with juggernauts. So some of that is out of UK's control.
What is in UK's control is these stupid effing neutral site games that seem to occur with no rhyme or reason.

What? A basketball game on a Saturday in January? Really need one of those fridge schedules so I won't miss these in the future.
-Dallas McGarity here in Louisville makes incredible gnocchi. Former executive Chef of Volare, Equus, and Marketplace...he's carried that dish to every stop along the way, including his new(er) restaurants Fat Lamb & Portage House. Wife worships gnocchi and orders it nearly every time it's on a menu, from NYC to Italy. His is as good as I've had anywhere.
Fat Lamb also has the best burger in Louisville, btw. Classic diner style smash - now only offers 10 per night, I assume b/c people were ignoring the rest of the menu. Also open for Lunch.
-120+ games today. Worship CBB once conference play is underway, competitive games abound all over, and a Gambols paradise. [cheers]

-Can't wait for Boston to arrive. Be nice to have an ACTUAL wing, and not a Cal manufactured one. We've really only had a few here under him.

Keldon was frustrating at times & obviously up and down like your typical freshman, but looking back he was probably vastly underappreciated. 14pts/6rbs per game, 38% from 3, and a competitor. That sounds pretty damn good right now. AYE

If Cal weren’t a OAD coach, Khalil Whitney wouldn’t see another minute this season....
This team had a lot of possible outcomes, but "Nick Richards is gonna carry the squad while everyone else disappears" was not on my radar.
We are not good at a lot of stuff but our underrated not good talent is passing. Seems like half our passes are tipped or not finding an offensive player in rhythm or on time. It’s part of our shooting issues.

The form on Maxey’s J is better than Wayne Turner’s and MKG’s, but it’s still in that “his high school coach should be sued for malpractice” category.
I mean, we’re just a bad basketball team. Hard to pinpoint one facet of the game we do well.
