I bought tickets through the university this morning and found a good deal for 7 seats on the 10 yard line 6 rows up. It was on the UK side of the field and turned out to be the end we scored the winning TD on.

Seconds after we scored on D to end the game I heard screams. I looked up and out of the heavens, a perfect spiral was heading right for me. Instincts kicked in, and I snatched the pass out of the sky. Sure enough, it’s a UK game ball thrown by Lynn Bowden (or perhaps someone else on the UK sideline, but I’m sticking with Lynn). Yep, Wayne Dougan took home a game ball today boys!

I had a bunch of friends over to watch the game, so couldn’t have posted this earlier, but *******. Wow. How many two and three win seasons have we all sat through. Six touchdown losses to better teams, etc. 2004, 2013, whatever. They are litany.

Well today, folks, our starting QB punched an opposing player in the face, and then proceeded to 233/73/3 before beating a major opponent in a meaningful bowl game. And also sucked their souls out in the process.
