Champagne doesn't suck. It's great. Agree with the 2nd part tho. Why spend a ton on it unless it's a really special occasion? Especially when there's a really good chance you destroy the bottle with that dumb sword.

I would think a first anniversary is a pretty good special occasion to justify a splurge.

Not shocking Anth is being a ***** about swords...and it’s a saber.

If I was celebrating NYE with Doc I’d fully expect some nice champagne and that it be opened with a sword. Probably be disappointed if he wasn’t on brand. He has his guests to think about, you guys.

Hope everyone had a very merry Christmas.

Rob will be happy to know that some ******* got me a mini OSU helmet to "help out all those terrible blue helmets in your man cave."

I did get another sweet UK cooler.

Weller Full Proof is my new fav bourbon.

I also scored some Eagle Rare and a Booker's Country Ham Batch.

So a LB from MSU punched their starting QB and broke his face? And the LB is still playing, QB is obviously out.

Per the tour director in Napa(and youtube) on a nice bottle you want to limit the amount pop to a light hiss.

Here ya go.

A champagne saber, presumably mounted over your fireplace, presumably by your TV, certainly does let everyone who comes into your house know what kind of evening they can expect.

Ordered a mimosa with ap.com in KC before the Auburn game. She DID NOT use the suggested method of keeping your thumb over the cork. As soon as she loosened the cage the cork burst, bounced off the ceiling like a rocket, and the entire contents of the bottle sprayed out all over the bar, register, and herself. She was drenched. It was 9am and she was supposed to work a 12 hour shift. Since then I have always covered the cork.

A champagne storm party didn’t ensue?
