Like everyone else on here I’m a UK basketball lunatic that expects excellence and I can honestly say I’m way more engaged with the football program right now than basketball.

First and foremost, college football is a far superior product than college basketball. Secondly, in regards to our football program, it’s fun being the kiss my *** underdog at times and it’s amazing to see the transformation of the program going into uncharted waters now that we have elite facilities, coaches and athletes. I honestly believe we’ll make it to Atlanta within the next 3-5 years.

I find it funny that no one mentions Stoops being fat but constantly do with Calipari. Just a weird thing that means something.

Stoops comes across as hungry and working to prove himself. Calipari comes across like he's just mailing it in and cashing checks.

I miss the old Calipari who made things happen. I remember before he came here Wetzel or Doyel wrote a piece about Cal and said that (metaphorically) he carries a knife. I even miss the pooping ice cream and Pikeville to Paducah nonsense.

Now his new schtick is "NEXT". Ok. That's great.

Get it together.

Kansas playing a game at Villanova is a cool thing. KU went out and did a simple home and home with them. UNC did one with Gonzaga How special would Nova or Gonzaga at Rupp be?

I know Georgia Tech, Utah and Arizona state are mega matchups, and return games in empty arenas hundreds of miles away are equally awesome, but it'd be pretty nice to see UK rejoin the world and play cool home and homes. At least Michigan is a step in the right direction.

Just amazed that kansas has the balls to drag their team to play in both the champions classic and events like Maui and unique home and homes. I dont know how anyone can argue anything else than Cal is afraid of road games.

Last year we beat UT at Rupp when they were ranked number 1 on Gameday. We got to watch PJ grow up before our eyes, Herro show balls of steel in a great win at Auburn and then a game winner in the sweet sixteen, Hagans make Colby White his *****, and countless other great moments. The year before we got to watch Kevin Knox come out of nowhere in the second half comeback at WVU, SGA become a star, and other great moments. The year before we got to watch a classic against UNC, Fox make Lonzo Ball his *****, and an absurd amount of great moments as Kentucky became one of the best teams in the nation. The year before we had great moments with Ulis and Murray that unfortunately were overshadowed due to a hangover from one of the greatest teams of all time ever assembled. But the last five years have been OMG SUCH A CHORE EVERYTHING IS AWFUL

This year we’ve already had a great performance by Maxey against the number 1 team in the country, and we’re not even halfway through the season. After the EKU game some in here were saying this was best team since 2015 and so much fun to watch. Two losses later we’re the worst team since 2009 and have no redeeming talent.

Again, the hyperbole after every win or loss is tiresome. All anyone acts like now is a whiny *****, and GYERO has turned into Rupps Rafters. SAD!

Stoops would have been the perfect mid-80’s NWA heel.

A lot of illegal punches and foreign objects when the ref wasn’t looking.

I’m talking about how all the posts since Evansville have been talking about how UK b-ball is a chore to watch and how awful it’s been to be a UK b-ball fan for the last five years, how people don’t even watch the games anymore, and how terrible and lazy Cal is, Masburned.

I think most of us would just like to see the team play some good basketball. Because we really haven’t much yet, except for the Mich St game. We’ve had some brief moments in a couple other games and that’s been about it. So yea overall it has been a chore to watch.

The fact that you are reaching to take glory in individual player's accomplishments is exactly the point. Kentucky fans expect a good TEAM, not an NBA halfway house.

If you have talents like Wall, Cousins, and Davis then that takes care of itself. If you don't, it is tedious and exhausting.

I’m ready to see us control this game today. Guard heavy attack, possibly full court pressure, and our bigs rebound and block shots.

Edit: Whitney breaks out, possibly.

Its time to coach and play for the win, and not teach stubborn lessons.

Schedule shaming and Go coach the Lakers aside, it’s time to kick some F’ing *** and remind these bitches that we are UK.

We're going to lose because we're not good. :grimace:

Meanwhile, Jameis Winston is must watch TV. 400 passing yards, 3-4 TD's and 3-4 Int's every game. Right on pace today with 200, 2 td's and 3 int's.

Gd right.

Only a Mexican transplant (or Tyler Thompson) could even attempt to argue otherwise.

the sonofabitch recruited his *** off this summer/fall.

First off, Rob, you can choke on a cock you spoiled little Daddy’s boy.

Secondly, nobody can question my UK fandom. Football or basketball. If you do, you are an absolute idiot.

Like most others here, I also want us to win every basketball game by 30 and look good doing it. We’ve looked like **** for most of this season. I’m not happy about it. But I guess I’m in the minority because I don’t think our coach has lost it, is lazy or doesn’t care any more.

I’ll catch a lot of **** from a lot of people if we lose today. I need this one and I’m not feeling confident.

To reflect the quality (or lack thereof) of this basketball season, the upcoming AP poll should just have blank spots for the top five, with the top ranked team coming in at number six.

Nobody deserves a higher ranking than that.

Kaleb Wesson could be a big problem today. Tough test for Richards and not very confident about it.

^ LOL.

-Mike White Twitter is interesting today. Much of the same offensive gripes we have...Their fans hate him.

That’s a Top 5-7 roster easily.

God I hate Clark Kellogg, make up a stupid word/phase (stiffs in the room give a courtesy laugh) then go into some explanation of what stupid word/phrase means.
