Larry’s in “the lifestyle”, right? And the gross kind where it’s just fat middle aged people in the suburbs eating Dominos pizza and screwing on camping mattresses in the den.

Lar’s game is kidnapping young women, putting them in his dungeon, and lowering down lotion in a basket, so no, I don’t think it impacts his game, unless he becomes too out of shape to corral them.
He’ll just shoot a bullet in their knee. Duh.

not gettin away from Lar’s needs.

Pretty pumped about tonight. Gonna get to bed early, then wake up in the middle of the night and watch the game with a couple of bloody marys and cook a nice, big breakfast. It will be like watching the British Open, or the Royal Wedding.

Hey don’t be sarcastic just because you can’t fly out to Vegas a week before Christmas to catch a basketball game. #notarealfan

So, how was the game?

It was totally amazing! When we checked in, we got bumped up to first class because we fly so much with United thru work, and we also carry the American Express United Platinum Travel Visa Business card, so it was really a no brainer for them. We had pre-arranged a professional driver from the airport, which is a veteran move, for sure. Got to our hotel in no time at all. Because was stay at the Cosmo so regularly, we check in thru the VIP line, which was a breeze. In and out in no time. We were in the West Tower with the rest of the suites, and that truly is the best play to stay in Vegas right now. The Executive Suite was 3 full rooms on 2 different levels, with over 800 square feet, including an office and a large living room/tv area. The bathrooms and the showers are floor to ceiling Italian stone. We got a massage and a short trip to the spa at the Oriental that day, then did a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam just to kill time. We had a prime reservation before the game -- 7pm, which really took some string pulling and assistance from the concierge. Luckily, we've made great friends with one of the hosts out there over the years, so he can get us whatever we want. We both had the surf and turf, medium rare, and split a bottle of the Marcello Sisters 2006 Vintage Cabernet. This came highly recommended by the sommelier, and it didn't disappoint. After dinner we had a few cocktails at Oak and Ivy, did a quick run thru the High Stakes Room at the Bellagio, then headed over to the game. I think Kentucky won, and the game was totally awesome. Such an awesome game.

Not to interlope, but if/when this happens, I’d very much like to be there. I’ve met a lot of the folks on here, but you two are notable exceptions.

Doesn’t seem right somehow.

Funny, when I was typing that to Wyvern, I was thinking the same thing. I sense some dark synergies.

So signs are pointing to us getting Josiah Hayes (160th ranked player DT out of MS) later today as well? Is this real life?

Rybka is flying under the radar. 4* DT that UT, A&M, Oklahoma, and Alabama wanted. Also, word is we will get Octavious Oxendine and Josiah Hayes (4* DT from Mississippi).

Our D Line class may look like:

Rogers 5*
Rybka 4*
Oxendine 4*
Hayes 4* top 200
Analee (DE) 4* top 200

Our O line class:

Young 4*
Adams 4*
Flax 4*
Buford high 3*, supposedly most athletic of the bunch

In state recruiting wise, I understand the Covington Catholic kid going to Notre Dame, but Walker Parks from Lexington basically showing no interest in UK is kind of strange. Same for the DB from Danville.

Any heat with UK and Frederick Douglas and/or Boyle County?

Rumors that Louisville might lose Chubba Purdy. Their top recruit and QB of the future. That would be a nice touch on a historic day for the faithful. Call it a Kentucky Double?

If we get Josaih Hayes to add to this monster class? I'm gonna be that meme of Vince McMahon falling backwards in his chair.

Stoops is doing for UK football what Calipari acts like he's doing for UK basketball.

EDIT: Holy ****, we got him.

-As impressive as it was for Stoops/Marrow to get commitments from these guys, actually keeping Rogers, etc. in the fold until NSD was more impressive. We'd all seen how that movie usually ends.

-Thanks for deleting your FB comment, Boat.

-Wife and I went to WDW for a race sans kids in 2018. Only there three days, and we had a great time. But then again, I'm a fat, teetotaling Baptist who is also a failed comedian, so take it for what it's worth.

-Today is the Super Bowl for fax machines, basically.

I'd like to know what happened at Douglass. The school pulled kids from mostly Bryan Station and Henry Clay, neither school was ever really great at football and 3 years in they've only lost like 5 games total and have had multiple D1 players every year.

Neil Brown is a folk hero there. We never had a chance once he got the West Virginia job. His family is all in and are moving to West Virginia next year.
I meant the one going to Notre Dame. Average 3* but ND picked him up anyway and even before the offer I don't see any stories about his interest in UK

And none of them have shown interest in UK. Parks is just the latest example (taking the Clemson offer is understandable), but they've had 3-4 kids who never even visited.

They have a big time OL next year and I've basically written him off. I have to assume there is a rift between UK and that coaching staff. Highly doubt half a dozen D1 kids from Lexington would all turn down UK

LeBlanc and Clinkscale's kids go there, per the Rivals database. Should help, but apparently not

Honestly, what makes you live in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and ever want to be a Cardinal fan? Living in Louisville? Family pressure?

I have plenty of UK "fans" that say, "Of course I root for Louisville when they're not playing UK." [eyeroll] x 1,000,000
I've never once heard a UoL fan say the same about UK.

I couldn't imagine not having all of the memories (good and bad) that have been injected into my blood from UK sports.

I mean I’m a Bengals fan so I get how someone can be raised to cheer for a team whose best days were in the 80s and constantly lose to their chief rival and are an example of stadium grift and overall moral turpitude.
