What happened with boy wonder Weingarten, anyway?

Saw a tweet where he's no longer covering Louisville on the rivals site. And he was introduced here a couple months ago as a special contributor, only to basically never post anything -- ever.

Did I miss something?

Back Story:

Charles Barkley makes OTR comment in jest to said journalist that he didn’t hit women but if he did, she would be the first (or something to the effect)

Journalist then goes on viral Twitter tirade with the typical ‘this is not acceptable, violence to women, etc etc.’

Twitter mob calls for Barkley’s head (and job)

Barkley issues public apology for bad taste joking remark.

Journalist’s sanctimonious tirade continues (no doubt enjoying her new Twitter hero-victim status)

Then in less than 24 hrs, someone finds and posts old tweets from journalist that are racist (Asians and Blacks), violent, and otherwise in bad taste.

Journalist issues apology saying her old comments do not reflect the real her.

Twitter hilarity ensues...

Last December Spotify featured a customized 'Your Top Songs of 2018' playlist, which is your Top 100 or whatever songs ranked by the # of listens in that year. Was searching for it yesterday, and they now have them up for '16 & '17 as well - maybe they always did, but I didn't notice. Just type in "Your Top Songs" in the search bar and the playlists will come up.

Pretty cool feature to see what you were jamming to most in a particular year, and obviously a ready-made playlist of all your favorite songs. [thumb2]

RANDOMS

-I'd like to add a nice rugby shirt to my wardrobe.

-Switched from a latte to an americano as my coffee shop go to. Prudent.

-Excluding country clubs Lee's Famous Recipe is the best fried chicken in Louisville. Audubon CC's is the best I've ever enjoyed. Anywhere.

-The 4 game playing time/redshirt rule change is the smartest thing the NCAA has done in years.

-Clevan Thomas is going to be a stud next season. Love that kid's game. JJ Weaver will be All SEC. The Male WR is the best prospect in the state. Will exhale when his FAX comes through.

-Scent of a Woman is just the perfect Thanksgiving movie. Not integral to the plot per se, but they nail the feel/time of year with the setting and scenes.

-Have had pain in my left pinky for 3 years that I've finally had enough of. I really can barely swing a golf club anymore with the sharp pain. Kleinert Kutz appointment made. So, excited about that.

-Wreaths/bows and candles in each window. Garland on the front portico. Tasteful wreath on the front door. Spotlight (?). Coming soon, folks.

Is Jay Williams really this dumb? Wiseman is in trouble for accepting money and has to donate it to charity and now he wants people (it's going to be 95% Memphis fans, alums, donors) to give it right back to him?

Hopefully the NCAA changes their mind and suspends him the whole season because of how stupid this has been handled.

Need to check out Shirley Mae's sometime, always gets raves as the best Chicken & southern food in town. Seems like somewhere Richie may have been before.

-Spotify is unreal. I have that thing so curated w/ songs, albums, playlists, etc I can't ever imagine switching or starting over with another platform. $9 for access to 95% of all music ever is indeed one of the best bargains anywhere for anything, and the app gets better all the time.

Btw, they recently added the entire Cash Money catalogue, from the original Hot Boys era (aka, the good stuff before they really blew up) -- they used to only have the newer stuff + Wayne.

-Bristol, Baby Shark "The Show" is coming to Louisville. No clue what that is or means, but I imagine the kids will be LIT. That song goes hard imo. :fire:
