Mrs. Cabobble's Caboose.

I found it on Youtube and I'm not sure how our music teacher didn't kill herself watching that 6 or 7 times a day.

Nobody had even mentioned the 15 different pies, which is the best part. Blueberry, Apple, Derby, whatever the hell that one is that looks like pudding and whip cream, is that one cheesecake? Whatever I’ll try a bite

-t-giving and xmas are the only times casseroles are acceptable, imo.

-wear what makes you comfortable. If you're comfortable looking like you just came from Walmart at 2 in the am, give it hell.

-Comfort is fine...ill be rocking pj's xmas day. However, all will bask in my sartorial glow at rudd family christmas eve dinner(after church).

-all that said: there is something to making the effort of "dressing up" at certain locales/for events that set them apart as special.

My jeans are more expensive than 90% of khakis - they are dark and crisp and look extremely formal and go great in most occasions. Apparently you slobs are wearing Lees or some ****.

Worst attempt at a humble brag ?

I wear dress pants / Khakis, 300 days a year. I will be damned if i will do it for what amounts to a lazy day, sitting around with family, eating and watching football. Depending on weather / temperature will wear jeans / shorts, along with polo / button down. Pretty simple, eat, hang out with family, crack a iced cold domesto and watch MY Dallas Cowboys play.

Besides, we had our Thanksgiving Dinner at work today. Had on slacks, dress shirt, and even wore a tie.

Client brought in a "Thanksgiving" lunch for us today; felt like a dick asking if they intentionally left off the cranberry sauce from the order, but I think it ties to the poor execution in overall operations we're trying to solve for them.

By the way, the catering company's green bean casserole was surprisingly on point, while the stuffing was the worst I've ever tasted. Very low celery and onion content. Sad!

-Casseroles are pretty hit and miss for me. B$'s hashbrown version is :fire: tough. I like breakfast ones.

-Lasagna is the centerpiece of my extended family Xmas. Always has been.

-Fashion spending really flip flopped for me the last decade. You guys encouraged me to pick up some flannel lined khakis from LL Bean today. So, thanks.

-School Thanksgiving today and I'm just not sure I can handle G getting any older. On Friday, WS and I were leaving for dinner and he asks if we're "going to get ice cream with our friends." :joy::cry:

-I tend to side with turkey haters. Not because it isn't good BUT if you're going through all that I can think of several great dishes that are much better.

-i will be roasting (as God intended) two free range/organically fed/non-gmo birds from the co-op. When you know what you are doing...a turkey is never dry.

-my hunting buddy danny swears by his traeger...ive had some good food from it.

I’m a foodservice professional. If your turkey is dry you overcooked it. It’s as simple as that.
Instant read thermometer in the breast should read 160 at the most when you pull it out. Let it rest 30 to 45 minutes. Carve and enjoy!

-I love casseroles and dumplings (fluffy or flat) and stuffing and dressing and corn pudding and turkey and all that stuff.

-School thanksgiving was okay today food wise. The event is a fun time with the kids. George’s list of things he’s thankful for...
School
family
car
Clyde
mom and dad
tiger
Still trying to figure out who this tiger is.

-I put SAE’s glasses in the mail today. Even packed them in a Kate Spade sunglass case.

- The sbtv app allows you to watch whatever local channels you want.

Something about the word ‘pudding’ puts me off. Bread pudding, corn pudding.... all may be good, but that effing word... ugh.

cranberry sauce, yes please

turkey sucks. 2-1 gravy to make it worth an ish. Ham FTW.

Mac and cheese sucks on the level of baked potatoes. If it isn’t the corner piece you can have it.

dressing = stuffing. Who cares. Ish is dope.

Gravy. Is there anything that is assumed to be so easy that sucks 90% of the time? Lumpy garbage because people don’t know how to work starch. Eff some giblets.

Buttermilk/pecan pie > any fruit pie.

deviled eggs are an American Masterpiece when done correctly. Little bacon, truffle oil... or your basic mustard and paprika will do.

Mason Rudolph should be suspended too.

Had it not been for Garret’s chin strap Rudolph would have pulled his helmet off first, and he was spitting in Garret’s face.

The 90s can go f*** itself for the weird trend where hot chicks all cut their hair short and punky. Liv Tyler, Tank Girl, the Cranberry girl, etc. Also mom jeans and muffs.

I mean this in all sincerity.....F Mason Rudolph. Typical little ***** white kid, who instigates and escalates the fight with a guy twice his size and ten times as much a badass, then cries when he gets his *** kicked. Garrett needs to be sat for a game, for sure, but how Rudolph is getting by looking like an innocent bystander is weak AF. This is some Duke level nonsense.

(not to mention Pouncey kicking Garrett while he’s being pinned down, but that’s a whole different rant)

Absolutely. Even put on my newly pressed Tuxedo-print tshirt on for the occasion... family tradition.
