So who would drive from New Orleans to KY for a night just to turn around and go back. I mean, worked out cool for me I got some bourbon delivered and had a wonderful dinner at Ruby’s...But no late night at the bar or hot tub social?

Lame.

Enjoy that long white line.

Tennessee has the best receivers we’ll see all year. They’ll be the first test for the secondary in quite a while. This is not gonna be a game Stoops can sit back in a soft zone all night and be successful.

Damon Thayer is a psycho. He was almost arrested a few years ago after he threw a temper tantrum at 1:30 AM about his live-in girlfriend decorating a Christmas tree at their shared home. She and her daughter hid from him in a bedroom closet.

Then he kicked her out and threatened to use his position to have her name removed from the state’s list of approved counselors if she didn’t voluntarily take her name off the deed.

No chance we’ll see expanded gambling or medical or recreational cannabis as long as Republicans like Thayer and Bevin are in charge. Tough choices ahead for some of you.

Was definitely used wrong. JVC was determined to make him a back to the basket jump hook player / dude is a pick and pop jump shooter

No he wasn't. The kid just wasn't ready for big time basketball during his time here. It wasn't really anyone's fault -- it was just frustrating as hell because Skal was a one and done so UK fans were deprived of ever seeing him doing anything useful in a Kentucky uniform.

Skal tried to reclassify but was ruled ineligible and ended up playing his senior year of high school at a made up high school (the "Reach Your Dream Prep Academy") against joke competition with Lord knows what kind of coaching. Plus the kid survived the Haitian earthquake (and living in non-earthquake devastated Haiti!) before even coming to America, so it is a minor miracle he was capable of doing what he did do here.

In retrospect, it wasn't really surprising at all that he didn't realize his potential as a wildcat and it almost certainly wasn't the fault of the kid or Calipari. Just a weird case.

That team was Ullis, Murray, and a bunch of huge gashes by the name of Skal, Marcus Lee, and Willis. If any of those pussies could’ve rebounded or defended even at a mediocre level that team could’ve gone far, and was actually playing extremely well headed into the tourney. But I was still pretty much in a daze that season due to the year before.
Great Sunday topic!

Worried about FSU.

I LOVE Mark Stoops and we are lucky to have him. Barnhart, to his topbutton credit, has also made this job highly attractive for Stoops to stick around unless a Florida or USC comes a calling. FSU is on that level.

If Stoops leaves for FSU, hats off to the guy and I wish him the absolute best. Well earned.

But if Barnhart doesn't immediately go hire Mike Leach, I would legitimately consider attacking Barnhart with a whiffle bat with holes drilled in it.

One of the most ridiculous big school hires in recent memory. He parlayed a win over UK and 1 decent season at USF into a $20m payday. That's crazy. Especially after he almost killed a player at Oregon.

Smh at college sports.

What’s the big deal about Willie Taggart being gone from FSU after a year and a half? That’s actually longer than he lasted at Oregon.

After all this time building up depth and a legitimate defense, there’s absolutely no chance he hires a head coach that runs a crazy offense and cares zero about defense. Just will not happen. Program continuity would be **** all over if he did that. Plus he clearly just doesn’t want to hire him.

And he’s absolutely right about that IMO. I think it’ll be another midwestern guy with Ohio ties.
