Baseball gear is too expensive- which is why you gotta be killing it like BRax for your kids to mash.

Basketballs and soccer balls otoh- I feel like those things breed in my garage. I’m lousy with ‘em.

Waiting to see if my son shows interest in football. By the time he does a bunch of the herd will be culled by Pop Warner concussions which will put him ahead of the game.

Actually a very happy man right now.

* Every day is a new adventure with the Lil Lassies. It’s so cool to see their development at various stages and personalities come out. The oldest is a spitfire while the youngest seems so laid back and will just go with the flow.

* Work is going well. Closing deals, getting to know the client base making up the book I took over and learning new stuff from a commercial credit standpoint to enhance my skill set. Really enjoy the group I’m a part of. Bank has been around for 115 years and has an old school community bank vibe with the capital to get **** done.

* Working out 6 days per week. Running 4, playing basketball 1 night, playing tennis one night after running in the morning and doing some light lifting on Fridays during lunch. My runs are going well.

I feel great for 40 but reality is settling in during pickup b-ball at church. There’s a group of college kids that attend UK who are back for the summer. 20 years old and these touchers fly. I like guarding one of them bc its a great workout chasing around a 20 yr old. I can still hold my own but hot damn everything is starting to seem like slow motion. I find myself doing old man **** like only trying to back my man down from the wing to the post, relying on multiple pump fakes or settling for 3’s. Did grab a board last night, took it all the way down and drained a flying honkey. Felt good but it’s sobering getting older out there. Oh well. Great exercise.

- Hilton Head a week from this Saturday for 7 days. Can’t wait. Sunshine. Water. Fun with the kiddos. Plenty of ice cold domestos.

Really want a new Bluetooth speaker. The one I currently have I bought from Radio Shack 7 years ago and ITS FINE but will not do the trick for this trip and my need for quality sound that my tunes deserve. Lass thinks the current one will suffice. I’m going to tell her it broke, give it to the kid down the street and pick up a nice JBL speaker at Best Buy. Win win for everybody.

- Buddy’s birthday this Friday. We’re hitting up NuLu and renting a bunch of Bird Scooters. Kind of concerning?

- Today is beautiful outside. Blue skies. Sunshine. Everything is so bright. When Kentucky weather hits it absolutely hits.

Atta boy, great plan.

BE CAREFUL and if you're drinking stay off them. They're cool but can be dangerous.

-Generac, motor on top. Don't get the anything with the soap reservoir, they are a worthless add on.

- Cat's in the Cradle gets me . Last Sunday was tough.

- I have 2 of the Onyx Studio 4's for bluetooth speakers. Little bulky, but still easily carried outside when needed.

- Ice Cube, "Nappy Dug Out" :fire:

^-Need some opinions on pressure washers. Are electric ones junk? Powerful enough to clean a driveway? Gas is just too big and seems like a hassle. That ginkgo tree is beautiful, and the centerpiece of the yard, but the berries are a real pain in the f*cking ***.

How is gas too big? It's a small cart on wheels. Pressure washing in general is a hassle, but having a good one handy is a necessity these days, especially in neighborhoods w/ trees over drives. Kinda like having a nice mower/trimmer/blower at your disposal whenever you need it.

Cats in the cradle sucks.

“Remember When” by Alan Jackson tho :weary:

My 7yo actually prefers basketball over baseball, and I’ll be damned if he isn’t decent at it. He’s gone to some camps and lessons. Smooth dribbling between his legs and behind his back. Has a nice touch. Won the free throw contest at field day :scream:. I have no expectations but wouldn’t surprise me at all if he is the next Tyler herro.

Gas engines for everything - stihl preferably.

Hopefully have some time next month to landscape that one bed in my front yard that goose always ribs me about. Will be sure to post about it on insta.

If the first 2 tracks are any indication the new Tyler Childers album is gonna be absolute fire.

He didnt play any new stuff last month when he was in town, but I think I am going to ride over to Atlanta later this year and see him again. His show really brought out some characters. He played at a local brewery and they ran out of beer- if that gives you any indication of the target audience.

Rent a gas powered pressure washer and seal the driveway before the berries start falling.

Whole neighborhood at city council meeting last night over flooding in the area while a single cell formed over said neighborhood dumping another 2-3 inches of rain. Karma at it’s best.

Kuminga.....yes, please

Just bought the 3100 psi gas Yamaha from Costco last week. It included the concrete/driveway cleaner attachment which made things a breeze on my test run. No idea what I’d use the most powerful tip for (other than cutting boards in half) but I guess it’s good to have it in reserve. Have used an electric in the past (good for light deck cleaning, etc but limited).

I’ve seen the Melbourne Mills defense attempted by lesser folks and it still amazes me that it worked in that case. I don’t think you can overstate how drunk he must have been.

I once tried a case where the defense seemed to argue that the defendant was too drunk to be DUI because she just didn't know what she was doing.

She went to jail.

I’ve long been a proponent of the idea that rather than in addition to the bar exam, law school grads should have to complete a legal residency before they can practice on their own.

(I assume the defense was a newish lawyer who thought they had stumbled across a radical and unique legal strategy and wound up screwing up their client)

No, veteran lawyer who actually tried a good case with horrendous facts. Client was obviously an idiot and wouldn't plea to anything.

Clay Travis is a dumbass, and so are you.

The NBA did not *ban* the term “owner.” Read or listen to all of Silvers comments on the subject. In fact, he pointed out its still used in media guides and argued the terms merits as it relates to Michael Jordan.

Even “moving away from” the use is silly and ridiculous, but they absolutely 100% did not BAN the term.

To that end, yes, you have been triggered. Fake news. :100points::100points:

It’s like the Baby It’s Cold Outside story all over again. There’s like 3 people on the planet who are offended by that song, and 3,000,000 that are incredibly F’ing pissed off that soooooo many snowflakes are offended.

Do better.

(I listened to an hourlong radio show on espn about this nba story yesterday)
