You look at a kid like hickman who could have stepped in to be a great option. Its the mentality of what Cal has created that needs a reset. It worked pre transfer era with classes that could dominate. With the portal and his offense its over.

Sheppard's play during the 98 title run is still one of my favorite UK storylines of all time. Especially when you consider he did it on a busted ankle that would end a player's season today (FU wheeler).
I hate UCONN but Timme getting held accountable by the refs is fantastic.
UConn is either completely irrelevant or winning a Natty. Never seen anything like it.

That game was bonkers but we were so used to being in the FF at that point I don’t think we give it the props it deserves.

Bill Curry is the only UK coach that even approaches the utter disgust I feel for JVC, and I am old as hell, so that is a lot of abysmal coaches

Anthony, I would love to move on, but our 2 digit IQ athletic director made that essentially impossible.

I run our work's bracket pool.
We have a pharmacist that had Kentucky winning it all.
If Miami beats UConn to make it to the final, she will win the pool....with only 70 points (1-2-4-8-16-32 point system).
That might be an all-time bracket win.

The initial break-up of the Big East hurt UCONN or their record could have been better. Yeah, they won title in the AAC while one year removed from Big East. Big East sent them a lifeline for hoops After BC and Pitt, I believe, conspired to keep them out of ACC when they went in.
It also gave them an out to get rid of Kevin Ollie leading to Hurley.
